Noitu Love 2: Devolution is described by its designer as being similar to Metal Slug, but easier (thankfully), and controlled entirely with the mouse. It didn't walk away with any awards from this year's Independent Games Festival -- having been beaten in the Seumus McNally Grand Prize category by Crayon Physics Deluxe -- but Noitu's sharp graphics and frenetic gameplay have certainly caught our eye.

I don't think there's a conflict of interest. Engadget and Joystiq readily partner with Mahalo Daily to provide camera footage on conferences. These conferences and whatnot are all MADE for networking anyway.
I understand but it looks to me that the conflict is her getting the gig because she is his chick. If Mahalo got these events before they hooked up then I suppose its not as big of a deal. See what I am saying? As i said I don't blame him and she does seem somewhat capable and qualified.
i guess it only takes a pretty face and half a brain for a woman to be successful in gaming journalism or for that matter tech in general. its a shame.
