Ubisoft seeks more game licenses

In light of Electronic Arts' attempt to buy Take Two, Ubisoft is looking to increase its portfolio by acquiring game licenses, according to CEO Yves Guillemot in an interview with Les Echos (via Forbes). We mentioned this in a previously post about a rumored EA acquisition of Ubisoft, but it's worth noting on its own.

Said Guillemot, "The desire of EA to buy Take Two pushes us to go faster, to accelerate internal growth but also to look at acquisition opportunities." Of course, acquiring licenses wouldn't necessarily stop the shroud of EA to engulf the license's developer.
