Xbox 360 Fancast 057 -- Gee Dee Cee

Well, Fanboys, we're back from GDC and we've brought gifts. No, not physical gifts, but audio gifts. Specifically, we've recorded a brand new Xbox 360 Fancast. Even more specifically, we've landed interviews with Bill Dugan from Torpex games (creators of Schizoid) and James Silva, creator of the amazing Dishwasher: Dead Samurai. Last few weeks have been super busy. This one was delayed thanks to GDC. Hopefully we'll be back on the Monday track next week.

The iTunes link doesn't seem to be working.

It's referencing 360fancase-057-22708.mp3 (link on your site is to "360fancase-057-22608.mp3"). I'm guessing the interview fancast bumped a number or something.

I should clarify I'm talking about within iTunes store itself, the link to this weeks show is erroring out.

I'm having the same problem, cant get it in iTunes

Sorry guys. Problem with the enclosure tag. Should be fixed once iTunes updates the feed.

I don't mean to be a knob head AGAIN, but the amount of time you spent writing that comment, you could have downloaded the MP3 and just added it to iTunes. This is what I do anytime it doesn't work.

Well someone had to write it... so it may as well have been me.

I take your point, but being the IT type guy I know that how long it takes someone to complain about something has no bearing on how long it would have taken them to choose an alternate method.

So, when are we getting an enhanced AAC feed?

Just as soon as we can get the devs to set up a new RSS feed. They've got a lot of things on their plate, so no promises. Hopefully soon though.

Oh my godz. This is the first time I've downloaded the AAC version of your podcast, I don't know if that's it but these switching photos at different times on my iPod is awesome! GG! GG!

You guys don't put the fancast out in enough different formats. You should release a special midi version.

You guys spent the first few minutes of the podcast complaining about Microsoft's cut in XBLA royalties. You neglected to mention, they also cut the up-front fees to developers (they pay the ESRB fee, for instance). This, to me, sounds like it benefits the small developer as they don't have to have a pile of up front cash when it comes time to publish.

I haven't done the math on the final result of all of this so it could still add up to a net-cut for the developer, but I think you missed a key part of the story.

Guys, 4 people on Skype is way too much. You are talking over each other all the time. Richard, getting rid of David was a great move. And I like Xav and Alexander a lot. But, please have only 3 total podcasters at a time. Personally, I'd like to listen to a weekly show with you, Xav and then one of the two girls. Thanks.
