Video: Dead Space will get messy
8
With news that EA's horror thriller Dead Space will be releasing this Halloween, we've been graced with a brand new Outer Space Trailer for your viewing consumption. And she's a bloody one ... gulp.
After giving the this latest Dead Space trailer a healthy watching, we actually came away with some new knowledge. We learned that just because you're in space doesn't mean monsters from hell won't try to kill you and that wearing what looks to be a welder's mask seems to improve one's overall "badass". Two lessons we think should help us get through life. Well, maybe not in our life, but two good lessons we'll remember when we scatter monster goo throughout the Milky Way when Dead Space arrives later this Fall.

Man EA is really holding this game back by making it available on the PS3. They could be adding all sorts of extra effects, oh i don't know, like realistic lighting instead of that stencil buffer stuff they are still using because they have to shoehorn this thing onto the ps3. Or perhaps little shiny droplets of blood. And whats with the minimal particle effects? I wonder if that has something to do withthe PS3 being unable to do vertex shaders? How about the vapor forming during an explosive decompression? Nope, that would require a level of dynamic shader that the PS3 is simply not capable of.
My message to EA is, make a great game(ok that a bit of an oxymoron), drop the PS3 compatability and bring the graphics op to spec on what we want out of our xbox games. Otherwise... DO NOT WANT.

lets see here, people cry and complain about how EA is trying to buy Take Two, and then they try to buy Ubisoft. Don't buy this game or any game with the EA name on it. If you don't buy their games they have less money to buy up companies.
