Metal Gear Solid 4 coming June 12, confirms Konami

Although announced yesterday at the Destination PlayStation event, Sony America was quick to distance itself from the June 12 release date, saying instead "late Q2 2008." Konami has now confirmed via press release that Metal Gear Solid 4 is indeed coming out June 12, 2008.

Konami also reaffirmed the pre-order bonus: reserve your copy of MGS4 starting April 2008 and get Metal Gear Saga 2.0, a DVD to catch you up to speed on the series, as well as a beta code for Metal Gear Online. You got that? Snake? Snake? Snaaaaaaaaake!

Wait a mintue the PS3 is a Blu-ray player but we get a freakn' DVD disc when we reserve it. Weak!!!

i assumed they would give a bonus blu ray disc away, not a lone dvd...how could you ever fit anything onto that.
