Jason Ocampo leaves Gamespot for IGN
Although Ocampo's leaving supposedly had nothing to do with Gerstmann-gate, the loss of almost every "known" person at Gamespot in such a short time is ... awkward. On the plus side, now there's hardly anyone remaining at Gamespot who'd be worth noting if they left. Yay, the epic is almost over and we can march forward (Ocam-ocam-ocam-po).

Because I don't mind being a yes man if my job is play videogames and write about how awesome they are, even if they're not.

I don't think so, at least not to the level at which they were pre-Gerstmann-gate.
I really noticed a sharp drop in both update-frequency and content when all of this went down and it's still not "fixed". Regardless of moral issues, Gamespot just isn't worth going to anymore for reviews or really any other content.
Their On The Spot show and podcast were their best features, they were always a little "amaturish" but they had the right idea I think, that's all to hell as well now...
But if someday, in some distant future, Ludwig, Justin or Chris leaves Joystiq for Kotaku... well, that day, the Internet will implode.

Okay I'm being unfair, some of the people working in IGN aren't that bad for example the PSP column still holds up..sorta.
Still they freaking gave Miami vice a 5 out of 5 and that's reason enough for me to hate them to death.
Well, there's still Brad and Tor, two excellent personalities.
Vinny's quite the trooper for keeping the hotspot entertaining, despite the exodus of talent.
