Sweet action. I think this is the earliest the show has been put up in a long time. And Cliffy B guest appearing? Awesome.

In the last numbered podcast, there was quite the hilarious conversation regarding Rare's choice of characters and basic storylines in their games. Such as monkeys with ties and baseball caps, or... well, Banjo Kazooie.

Clarification: My complaint with the Penny Arcade game's GUI had more of an issue with with dragging and dropping the icons rather than the icons themselves. That's a whole lot of mousework...

I said the exact same thing about Phil leaving Sony on my podcast (sinking boat, etc). Keep up the good work.

It can't be the best Brush With Fame because I wasn't the one being brushed.

Hope that's not too inappropriate.

Another classic McElroy impression, from repo man to prospector. You, my sir, are a comedic God.

Frakenstein+Fannypack+Fran Drescher = GOTY 2008

Frankstein runs around with Fran Drescher in a fannypack. Enemies die (quite quickly) by Frankenstein opening up the fannypack and having Fran laugh that stupid annoying New Yorker laugh until the enenmies ears start bleeding. Bosses however must be lulled to sleep by watching reruns of "The Nanny"

That is a pretty uncommon impression of New York. Nanny? Dude, Nanny a city does not make. There are a million shows based in NY and you had to pick HER! oy vey

Justin, You can bust out the Full House references, but not The Nanny? You had waaaay to good of a childhood my friend.

Youtube Search Fran Drescher or The Nanny and you will quickly learn this idea is full of win

A Mapmaker carrying a Mongoose in his Manpurse.

They Mosey up and down the Mountainside, Meting out justice to Malicious Monkeys, Murderous Moles, and other Malcontents with a Maple syrup firing Musket. Then they dance the Macarena. Or something.

I don't know, but I think the idea has Merit.

Alright, wait:

All of these comments and no one compliments Chris and Justin on the bit about the "rat man" and the prospector voice?

That was the funniest Joystiq podcast moment yet! I seriously belly laughed so hard that I woke my wife up. Hi-god-damned-larious!

Great show, as always, gents!

My thoughts on this weeks podcast - TOO SHORT. Teh's loser is you!!!1!!11!!!!! Chris not saying 'Gingersnaps' in the intro also doomed the episode.

May sound like I'm being harsh, but I don't want you guys to get sloppy. I'm doing this because I care. C minus

Also, where can I get that The Problem with America song (The Vitamen, Children of the Bear album)? I downloaded limewire, got my thousands of pop-ups but no song. I checked the torrents - no dice, guys. I don't want to buy the CD ($40 in the UK), and I don't want to buy the track online because of DRM and low encoding.

Get it on isohunt!

Quick message: A game WORSE than banjo-kazooie (I purposefully didn't capitalise their names just for you, Justin - stay strong, buddy) that meets the stated criteria. Inspired by Shawn Elliott:

Menstrual. Blood. Magic.

Maybe you missed that podcast...
