Major League Eating crammed into WiiWare

Shovelware has graduated to the next level: irony. Turns out Mastiff plans to debut its coveted Major League Eating license on WiiWare, when the service launches May 12. Players will literally simulate the shoveling of food into their mouths using Nintendo's patented Waggletech®. You thought busted TVs were bad? Wait till someone swallows a Wiimote.

Major League Eating: The Game features two-player offline play, plus an online mode and leaderboards. Players will be taught to use various techniques -- like the cram, toss and typewriter -- while engaging opponents with an arsenal of 'gurgitatory' weaponry, including bites, burps, belches, mustard gas and jalapeño flames. Burp-offs and hot potato challenges are also con-firmed. This can't be ... Oh yes, it's real.

Nope, PS2 definitely has more. Can't believe the number of times I've walked into GAME and seen some "Big Rigs racing!" or similar titles sitting in the top 10 charts! Looking over the Wii stuff and it has Galaxy, Prime, Wii play and generally better games.

I can already count more better games on the Wii than the PS2, unless somehow the Wii has more games than the PS2 already?

Well, cant' say Wii Ware doesn't have diversity. Final Fantasy, Dr. Mario and Major League Eating. And plu, you get to train to one of the "nearly $350,000 in prize money" awarded by International Federation of Competitive Eating (I'm not making this up, it's on Wikipedia)

Really, I'm pretty impressive by how good WiiWare is shaping. Almost every WiiWare announced title looks very good, both graphical and gameplay side.

I'm proud of this developers, because they are peopel who actually wants to work, and actually wants to make good games.

Eternity's Child, World of Goo, Plattchen, Final Fantasy, Star Soldier R, Butterfly Garden, Lost Wind and a lot of other titles. And all the games at a bargain price.

This developers only need one chance... they don't have the resources to make a big game, but they are proving to be very creatives. Developers like Data Design Interactive should be ashame for their mediocre games and this game should be in the same category... mediocre.

By the way... look the new look of Castle Defender... nice! =p
