@Van Yes Alone In The Dark 5 does look better,but SH5 could be the better game.

The makers of SAW phoned, they said they want their scene back.

A Silent Hill game is like sex and pizza, even when it's bad it's still pretty good.

Not sure if that made any sense but yeah I'm looking forward to playing this game.

It looks like the developers really are keeping the spirit of the game alive. Cryptic messages in blood on the wall of a bathroom? That SCREAMS silent hill.

Can't wait for this one to come out.

doesnt look very atmospheric, i mean, bioshock looks more silent hill than these do =\

I am damn excited for this one. I tend to be a little fanatic about Silent Hill; I'm madly in love with everything about the series. Akira Yamaoka. Seriously, that's it. Akira Yamaoka.

I used to be a hardcore Silent Hill fanatic, but I'm just not terribly excited about the series any more. From what I've seen and heard about this one, so far it just sounds like a dull lifeless cash-in on a once-great series.

What have you seen and heard, havent they only released screenshots?

i'll tell you what i've seen and heard: The Collective hasn't made a decent game yet and spent 2 years on a "Dirty Harry" remake that got canned. They got the job of making SH 5 because of some cool promotional art one of their concept artists did (the other dev in competition was Silicon Knights).

it had a rocky road of questionable explicit content (borderline pedophilia) that Konomi finally refused to use.

the teaser trailer is also the weakest trailer known to man. and these screenshots are below today's standards.

ehhh i like the silent hill franchise but i think condemned 2 bloodshot will be a better overall game cause the first one was creepy and the second one looks to up the ante so this game maybee good but only time will tell if it gets better with age
