Eight-directional arcade shoot-em-up Rocketmen: Axis of Evil is coming next week to Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Store. In addition to customizable characters and four-player co-op (online and offline), the game will support 1080i visuals, according to a press release.
Rocketmen was originally unveiled in April alongside Talisman. The game will come out next Wednesday (Xbox 360) and Thursday (PS3) for 800 MS points / $10. (Important note: We were debating between the current headline and "Rocketmen explode onto XBLA, PSN." In the end, both were deemed equally pun-ful/painful and a coin was tossed.)

Coupla demos, little bit of music that I like to listen to ingame, all the XNA stuff that I have yet to sample, and a whole bunch of XBLA games. I've bought about 15, 18, something like that, and there's some like Geometry Wars that I see no reason to buy as the demo is so much like the game.
I really feel the need to get a 120Gb or an Elite, but £130 for 120Gb is an f-ing joke. In all seriousness, I could bulk buy SD cards and have more storage for the Wii for less money than that.

Hope there's a demo.
Hope it controls like Blast Factor/SSDHD.
Hope it doesn't suck.
I'm probably wrong on all 3.

Ditto. can't decide if I want to save money and get a 160gig drive for $75, or go whole hog and get a 320 for $160...

Yeah, that's a tough one. I think I want the 320, though, you never know how much space you're going to need. Plus, I think a lot of developers are going to keep utilizing the PSN to distribute their games. There's a lot less overhead, and there's no "used game" market to zap profits. If you can put a full game like Warhawk on the PSN, I think the sky's the limit.

ive already decided im upgrading my hard drive this summer. i was thinking 320GB but if i can find one with like 500GB that doesnt cost an arm and a leg, ill pick that up. i would seriously like to use my PS3 as the hub for all my recorded videos but 60GB isnt going to cut it for that. i can fit a decent amount of movies and such but i need more space. i also need a video playlist before i can really consider this my main media hub (i mean seriously, PSP can do it. i just want the videos to play back to back with no extra input from me is all).

Why not "Rocketmen released like candles in the winds of XBLA, PSN"
Oh wait, that's right, because that would be crap.
