this demo was incredible and is the right type of thing to make people want to make games with XNA and show what you can do with it.
when this things hits the marketplace in full form, it's a hands down must buy.

My only "complaint" about the demo is that the enemies just had way too much health. I would prefer more of them or that they had stronger attacks... I had a lot of fun with it, but I can just see that wearing on me if I played a full version.

Honestly, though, he's doing an absolutely amazing job with this. Not once did I sit there and see something that would make me think one guy is putting this together. It's really impressive and honestly I'm pretty jealous of his ability.

This was the only game that was released from the xna that was any good at all.
Little Gamers was ok but lacked ambition.
But yes Dishwasher was cool, cool enough to get a guarenteed purchase from me when it comes out.
Not the best Aracde game I've ever played though.

This is seriously the best game on the XBLA.

@ccc

I think Jelly Car was extremely interesting as a concept level, but it lacked so much depth. It was more of a game mechanic demo. I eagerly await a fully fleshed out jelly car game.

But in the end Dishwasher is just an unbelievably fun and beautiful game.

I dont think this game was that great. Too me it was just another beat em up that liked to focus on blood and a couple repeatitive combos with a minor shop system thrown in. I Did not enjoy playing the game. I was not entertained to reach the next room just to fight more enemies. I would hate to have to do that for a few hours with a full game. Which would also leave you with nothing after you beat it.

I must say it was the best developed game of all the XNA games however. It felt like a finished product, had a clean ui and controls and style. I wont be purchasing any of those XNA games when they come out (or even playing them for free for that matter). But I like how with XNA, there will be hundreds of games, so hopefully there will be more to choose from.

N+, still best XBLA game.

@Mike K
Yeah Jelly Car was the other game I didn't delete right away. Made me laugh a bit.
As far as best arcade game goes, I'll take N+ and Pokersmash anyday over Dishwasher.
Although Dishwasher is nice, it is not on the level with Castlevania SOTN either. So dont make it out to be.

@uberced: This demo was only available to download until February 23 and is only playable until March 9.

If you didn't grab it already you'll unfortunately have to wait for it to come out for real.

Wow, people seem to really like this game! Personally, it bored the shit out of me after like 5 minutes. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong...
