Weekly Webcomic Wrapup is back for the long haul

Apologies for last week, our shenanigans at the Game Developers Conference got in the way of the usual grind: eating, sleeping and webcomic perusal. We're back now, and hopefully we can get back to being consistently posting on Saturdays (starting next week).

A special note about Little Gamers, who had their game showcased on the XNA community arcade: here's an interview with the creators and a comic-based reaction to Eurogamer's review. So with all that in mind, please accept these double doses of game-related webcomics.

I don't like Kirby, but the Kirby comic was amazing. The Master Chief Kirby is made of win with a dash of danger. I like it. There's even an EarthWorm Jim Kirby!

While I understand the appeal I voted for a "comic" with a "joke" associated.

I'm as bitter as they get towards VGCats, and the Kirby one was pretty cool.

100 kirbys, just for the shear effort. But, as usual, on the humor front, penny-arcade pwns.

Satupon, lol. I voted Kirbies because that's just amazing. I feel like a huge geek being able to tell from where most Kirbies came.

The Penny Arcade one was funny because it's typical for MMO fans to whine about updates.

The trick is that you've got to read the 2pstart comic in rythem

Maybe we should wait two weeks between Wrapups more often.

There were actually some good ones to choose from this time.

Lot of good choices I thought, Hijinks Ensue for me.

How the hell is 100 kirbies winning? It's not even a comic. It's more like a spreadsheet or something.

CAD is like Kristen Holt on G4's Cheat - just because you're talking about video games doesn't mean I'm interested.

I'm trying to find the joke in 100 Kirbies. Help? I think "Marching to the beat of a different drum" is the best this week. It's like the Kirby comic, but with multiple clever jokes instead of no joke at all.

Even though i'm a great Kirby fan, the Patapon one was just made of too much win.

Penny Arcade, DA, Action Trip, and DU were also good

I think the Kirby one is more of a sheet of a hundred potential avatars than a comic. :P

This was a good week in gaming comics. Ninja Ken captured EXACTLY how I feel about the PS3.

Good strips this week; lately, I've been struggling to find one comic worth a vote, finally this week I had to make a tough choice from quality goods.

while i love the kirby comic (obviously...), i dont really consider it a comic per se. now if you had nominated the cooking mama one, then i would have voted for it in a heartbeat. as it stands tho, this week was pretty awesome, and im having trouble deciding which one to vote for.

CAD was incredibly lame
100 kirbies while quite impressive there's not actual joke to it
FoxTrot was full of win simply because its foxtrot
Office space parody gets some credit because office space is full of teh winz

Ninja Ken nailed my own PS3 story arch. I hated the mere idea of PS3 just last year, but I own one now and I love it.

Lots of good ones this week. PA, Hijinks, and AT Comics all gave me a lauch, but 2P Start was just to great!

Have to give it to 100 Kirbies... It's just too amazing.

Digital Unrest for me, simply because its comforting knowing I wasn't the only one who worried about the plasmids thing.

The cooking mama one is the best ive seen this year.
The kirby one got my vote for being awesome.

Im also aware that since being a self-elected grammar defender im overly-cautious of making mistakes.

So for now on ill be raggin' on other people's grammar only. Me already has good grammar, trusts me.

Good week in my opinion. The Kirby thing must had taken ages to finish. I can entirely relate to the breakdown for PS3 goodness. The Hijinks Ensue comic where they're beating the crap out of that HD-DVD attachment was a nice original touch to narrate webcomics. The Sixth Sense was win, and the Patapon one was really creative.

I voted the Sixth Sense because I don't think that the joke could ever get old.

Normally I think Dueling Analogs is pretty goddamn funny, but any of the Megaman ones are just the opposite.
And Buckley, don't quit your day job, unless it's webcomicing, in which case please quit it.

That 100 kirbies are killin' me. But it will be better to write those names under each kirby.

The only one that really made me laugh out loud was Ctrl-Alt-Del

That's an interesting statement coming from someone who voted for a comic because of a reference to a 10 year old movie.

I had to give it to Hijinks Ensue because of the office space reference, although the Kirbies were really awesome.. but not like VG Cats need to win another wrapup, right?

lots of good comics this week....I always enjoy FoxTrot, CAD made me laugh hard, but I voted for the PS3 with FFVII...
