This may get me branded as a heretic, but I don't want a BioShock 2.

The original was brilliant, fun, compelling, and most of all self-contained. I don't think there's much more we could get out of re-visiting Rapture, it's tale has been told.

If BioShock 2 : BioShock :: BioShock : System Shock 2, I'm in on day one. That is, if they change the setting, make a whole new (unrelated) story, and call it something different, the basic set of mechanics should hold up just fine.

If they make a direct sequel, uh, I have absolutely no idea what you'd be doing. Seriously, they have nowhere to go. I guess they could make a prequel? It'd have to be pretty different, though.
