Team Fortress 2 for Xbox 360 patched, no class changes
An update for Team Fortress 2 has come to the Xbox Live. Unlike the PC patch from over the weekend, there are no balance changes to the classes themselves. Instead, a number of glitches have been fixed, as well as the inclusion of rumble for weapons and the addition of 10- and 14-player team sizes. No indication of a PlayStation 3 patch, so if you've gotten an update, let us know in the comments below. Full details (via Steam forums) after the break.

I need to pick this title up...
Any LAN/split-screen play?
Nailio @ Mar 3rd 2008 11:47PM
If you have a alright PC, get it on the PC. Trust me.
Joeshie @ Mar 3rd 2008 11:56PM
Agree with Nailio.
TF2 isn't very graphically intensive and can be run on a variety of computers. Even if you can't run it on the highest settings, the huge player-base and custom maps really make up for it.

The PC version is simply amazing. The xbox 360 version is great but the PC version is better not to mention that the PC version of TOB includes Garry's mod and peggle.
According to Gamespot Test my computer is able to run TOB without sweat it but I downloaded a Demo and the framerate was awful and choppy even on low settings.
According to that test I just need to update the version of my Graphics acelerator driver (Too bad I don't which version) I don't know if I just lurk moar or just buy a new Pc.I want to play Crysis and Gears of war anyway.

TOB?
POOLSCLOSED @ Mar 4th 2008 2:22AM
Actually, Garry's Mod isn't included in TOB (The Orange Box).
Mills and Boom @ Mar 4th 2008 7:28AM
It's a crime to play TF2 on anything but a PC.
It's morally corrupt to play TF2 on a PS3 though.
Mr.ESC @ Mar 4th 2008 11:20AM
Weird I swear there was a package that included TOB and Garry's mod.
Well at lest includes peggle.

No effect on classes joystiq? I'm pretty sure all healing, both from the medic and the engineer's dispenser got nerfed by %50.

Finally a fix on that stupid backstab glitch, that was one of the reasons I stopped playing. Is there any news on if we will get the new map on consoles?
Korova @ Mar 4th 2008 8:06AM
Fired up the old 'box yesterday and had me a jolly good shoot out!
Didnt really notice anything different except for moar FUN!
God, Damn, that game is good!
Shimrra @ Mar 4th 2008 12:33PM
I think both PC and Console versions are good. I own both just in case if my comp is preoccupied I have my 360 to play on or vice versa.

I'm torn on the decision to auto-destruct Engie buildings during sudden death. While there have been more than a few times where my dispenser or sentry has saved the round for my team (while I've been dead), I'm also sick of teams that suddenly convert to Engie when SD starts and completely lock down their point, making a draw or a loss the only realistic outcome. I'm guessing this change is meant to combat that; if you can somehow lure an enemy Engie off the point and kill them, you also destroy their sentry/dispenser and have more chance of reaching the point. I say 'somehow' because teams that play this way obviously try not to move around, so this update may not be as effective as it was intended to be.
Dr. @ Mar 4th 2008 1:37PM
That change has been in the PC version forever now, and it is totally worth it.

Can't heal enemy spies when they're not disguised?
Talk about ruining some fun right there.
I usually play this game for jokes and laughs. And nothing is funnier then having a buddy as a spy and going through my whole team and slaughtering them... While I'm healing him. Ubercharge while he's undisguised ftmfw!
