*laughs* Looks like someone is a bit jealous the PS3 is actually getting games. That list I compiled there is a pretty nice size for current exclusives and exclusives coming up.
God of War III is not Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, LittleBigPlanet, or Home. Neither is Haze, Killzone 2, White Knight Story, Disgaea 3, inFamous, or Tekken 6.

Did you ever actually play Killzone 1? You sound like one of the people that say it's bad because everybody else does. The real story I got was the game was overhyped, and as a result was put in a "it sucks" light when I've heard...and this is from one of my friends who is a complete 360 fanboy...that the game is good.
The people I've known to play the game have said it wasn't amazing, but it was a decent game, fun to play. As for Haze, you could say the same thing about every FPS out there. It's all the same crap. Guns and shooting. Wow...you can change up the looks of the guns and the artwork of the game (*coughTF2cough*), how amazing and different. All the crap is generic.

All I was listing was exclusives, I never said they were "huge." People act like a game has to be huge and have already proved itself to be looked at at all. New IPs barely get recognized at all. They get passed off as "rubbish." Talk about people not giving a game a chance.
Instead of calling it rubbish just because it's on a console you don't like...why not actually LOOK INTO THE GAME? If you're a real gamer, you're in it for the games, not the console. Don't just play the same crap all the time...old gets boring, why not look into new IPs?
I'm sure if Haze was still going to both the 360 and PS3...360 fans would be like "Z0MG!!! *eats up it* 360 V3R510N 15 D3F1N1T31Y G01NG 2 B3 B3377R!!!". I wouldn't be surprised if that were to happen, people tend to be hypocrites.

The PS3 has some great exclusives coming up for sure. FF13, God of War 3, MGS4, and LBP will probably all turn out great.
However, why in the hell to people continue mentioning Killzone 2 as a big exclusive coming out? Did we not go through all this before? The "Halo killer" Killzone 1 was hyped for a year the same way the sequel is now, and the final product couldn't even live up to a tenth of the hype it received, and most thought it was complete trash. It's like someone arguing that the 360 has all these great exclusives coming up and then including Kameo 2 in that list. A sequel to a shitty game is not something you list in your upcoming list of great exclusives.
I mean seriously, stop including this game in your list people as it instantly kills off any credibility you may have. Do people not realize that when people see someone make a list that includes Killzone 2 they just write that person off as an extreme fanboy and move on to the next post?
There are plenty of big upcoming PS3 exclusives, so stop looking like idiots by including Killzone 2 in that list and just stick to the ones that are actually going to be good. You're much better off with people thinking the PS3 has one less big exclusive coming up by leaving Killzone 2 out of it than you are by including that one extra game that ruins the credibility of your entire list.

Even being an Xbox 360 "fanboy" (as in, so far it's the console I decided to spend my money on) I can say that 2008 will be good for the PS3. That being said, I have some nitpicks:
First, the value page says their is no extra cost for the complete PS3 experience, when I thought it's HDness was and HDMI were super important. I.E. the PS3 has no HD cables with it, so you will need to go out an buy some.
Second, congratulating the PS3 on finally getting rumble is more of an embarrassment than anything, though I'm happy they decided to put it in.
Third, I still not convinced HOME is anything more than a fancy version of Second Life. I'm willing to give it a try, but I would have been happy with simple "friend" invites and in game messaging.
And all that being said, I'm going to buy a PS3 (probably in the MGS4 bundle or if I can find a sale, I'm still not convinced by the 399$ no backward compatability PS3). Little Big Planet and Resistance look great, and I really want to try out some of the stuff on the Playstation Store.

Holy crap... there must be about over 300 posts of everyone's rants and raves about which is the best system out there. Insane... the hardcore gamer fan base out there never ceases to amaze me. But if I too were to add my 50 cents to the argument, I might add a couple of points.
-True... the innovations introduced on the Wii is nothing new. Remember the power glove that nintendo released way back? Same concept, but just with some cool powerpoint-like interactions. But one thing is true and has always been true about nintendo (same reason why i own a wii)... its freaking fun to play its first party games. I don't care what the hell anyone says about it... mario owns... and has been a childhood nostalgia for years of my life. to me, Mario has become as iconic as say Mickey Mouse. HE'S JUST THAT FREAKING AWESOME. And Mario galaxy, (although can be played by 8 yr olds) is extremely unique and a refreshing way to look at games. it shows the world that a game doesnt need to have guns, and a person's head splattering all over your screen to be remotely interesting. I'm just biased like that. =D
And lastly, for the 360 vs. ps3 console war... WOW. I have been waiting around to jump on that band wagon for a while now. Many of my friends have a 360, and XBL, and tell me to get a 360 too so i can play with them. I thought about it, but for myself, a 360 plays like a pc... maybe because it pretty much is a pc... and a ps3 is one too. all the features that both highlight are things that a pc can do... go online, connect to a tv with hdmi (with the right pci cards of course)wi-fi, capability to play blu-ray... and the list goes on and on. Where the issue lies however, had always been in the software, software, software. For an example in real life terms, what good is a ferrari if you can't drive it (because say you can't drive a manual or something like that?) You have something awesome, but its worthless if you can't do anything good with it. Hate to go back referencing the Wii, but it does what it says it does. Graphically speaking it sucks, and is nothing absolutely impressive, but neither does it have to be. Look at how crappy graphics are on the ds... but yet it still sells by the millions... because honestly the games on it are that much FUN.
Wow... this is getting longer than I had hoped. Overall, i've decided to get the ps3 with the mgs4 bundle pack in the end over the 360. Why? well, I know that when you compare a 360 to a ps3 its like apples to oranges, but in the end i like the way the ps3 looks and feels, and playing a MGS game on something other than a playstation feels damn weird. Plus, the controller is damn near perfect in design for my small little hands... something i have gotten quite used over the years with (i've owned a ps1, and a ps2). And for software, well its the same as the 360. everything 360 has, so will ps3, and vice-versa. Plus on top of it all ps3 can play blu-ray right off the bat. And the whole "future-proof" concept isn't a bad idea as well... i would think one's investment should pay off in the long run. Ps3's price is a hefty sum to pay to play some damn games however... but because of blu-ray player it doesnt hurt as much. Last comment? besides a gripe that I have with the 20 min dl time for DMC4 on the ps3 (I was over a buddies house trying to play the damn game which took forever), playstation never disappointed me in the games that you could play on it. Hopefully, that fact doesnt change for the ps3.
