firstly, i had english in school for about 8 years, but for that it still isn't very good.
secondly, she is 21. I even know her name! ;) but as well as other information, you wouldn't spread it around either. especially no real names, other photos, bra-sizes and messenger-contacts.
thirdly, in the last days, it's hard not to find any article about these two, when you'r interessted in cosplays, consoles and stuff. this is quite weird, because some of the pictures are nearly 2 years old, others about 9 months. its nothing new.
@ aise: the red one has a boyfriend since years, sorry ;). do you think, such girls stay single for long?! xD but i think she read the posts, and if she wanted t contact anyone, she could.

If you're telling the truth, just be sure to tell these girls to just laugh it off if they aren't. Every time a good looking gamer or otaku gal comes along, everybody jumps on the bandwagon and thinks they've fallen in love. Personally, I think the way people talk about women like this behind the veil of anonymity is ridiculous. I hope they don't feel bad about this, because some of us just really enjoyed the pictures.

Anyway, cheers again. Blue is just too adorable. :P

well said, its one thing to admire the talent and beauty of these ladies, its another to ask for personal information, thats just creepy!

I hope that all such girls aren't always taken otherwise i will be single for a long long time ;-) Although maybe its time for a trip to the land of my ancestors, looks like you guys sure do knwo how to throw a fun convention (although Seattles own SakuraCon is pretty fun too).

That being said, if Red ever decides she wants to move to America and marry a guy who will worship her like a goddess, well she knows where to find me now ;-)

Yes, you'r right. There are poeple using this board the way it's meant to be used, and then there are the omnipresent "masters of inappropriate comments". Thats the way it is, but still: it's not nice to read "I'd ______ with my ______ all over their ______", especially when you are the person meant. that sucks. but it's more or less not worth to care about.
What really fazes me is that some collect photos and present them, regardless of what they show or who they belong to.
One guy collected about 200 photos of her and the red link, some of them private ones from restricted servers; thats rude. I personally have no problem with jokes under the veil of anonymity, as you called it, but thats a border users have to respect.

(btw: the red one is hot, too, but don't tell my girlfriend! xDDD~)

"@ aise: the red one has a boyfriend since years, sorry ;). do you think, such girls stay single for long?! xD but i think she read the posts, and if she wanted t contact anyone, she could."

Hello.. At first, sorry for my bad English (I'm Italian), but I'll do my best, using some translator now and then..
I imagined she was probably engaged, but no problem for me! We live too far and she probably wouldn't like me anyway, so my hope wasn't to become his boyfriend.. she's too wonderful for me!
I would have liked to know her better and become her friend, instead, to discover if she's smart and nice as much as she's beautiful.. If so, she may be an angel!
You know, there are a lots of nice girls around.. but for me she's one of the bests.. Her face is the cutest I've ever seen.. His boyfriend is a very lucky guy and I hope he knows that and makes anything to make her happy... because her smile can make happy lots of people!
I'd like to specify that what I'm telling is not because I saw her in a Link's costume (who is from my favourite videogame).. I'm 21 and I'm not a crazy fanboy.. I just found these photos reading on a Zelda website and got a crush on her at first sight (regardless the costume)!
I asked her name at first because it's odd to talk about her refering as "her" or "the red one", and just the name isn't that private information.. didn't want the surname too! ;)
About the contact.. I would like to have it only if she wants.. anyway if she reads me and wants to say me "Hi" I leave her my e-mail/messenger to contact me: evilgoten@libero.it
Thank you so much and bye!

StrangeAxel You make very little case for your own argument. You come off looking ridiculous which causes your opinions to be discarded and un-credible.

"You *can* make a career out of video games. Beta testing, texture artists, animation, modeling, game designing IN GENERAL."

Yes, but few people generally do. Sadly. Though it's still an infant growing field, much like 'IT'. For such a career you need to be passionate, creative, dedicated and organized. How do you get these skills? Well, of course educated schooling (i.e. College) helps. But what about life experience? I find many Cosplayers have an immense creative drive. They can be extremely passionate at what they do, and posses an ambitiousness that - if handled correctly and combined with the former - could be just the skill needed get them far in life and a successful career.

"You can't make a career out of acting out fictitious characters."

Uh, say what? Try looking at that and rethink what you just said. Yes you can make a living doing exactly that, it's called ACTING. There's this huge industry called 'ENTERTAINMENT' that is based on nothing BUT acting; both fictitious and actual-life characters and situations. Granted it's a tough field to become enormously successful (and famous) in, but many make a fair living off it. For other people it's more of a hobby; like cosplayers.

"One last thing you can't make a career out of making costumes. I'm sorry there's no college for anime costumes."

Again, look at the Entertainment industry. This career field is called Wardrobe or Costume Design, or something to that effect. Also, if you haven't noticed, the fashion industry is huge. And what about merchandising and holiday costuming? Seems to me it's a career field, and a fun, creative and rewarding one at that.

You make wide, unfounded generalizations that are blatantly geared towards attempting to prove your point, however failing miserably. You seem to have a vendetta agenda against someone and are imposing it onto anyone that marginally fits the into you narrow vision.

Although, unfortunately I have to agree, that sometimes cosplay is about getting attention and can be a bit overtly sexual. Human beings have a way of making darn near anything to be about sex. It's just a fact. But you seriously took it a bit far and made a bigger issue out of it. You ended up looking like an unnecessarily angry, foolhardy individual.

Ooops, forgot to mention. I didn't want to seem as though I was inferring that these two gals were attention hounds or being overtlysexual. On the contrary. These cosplayers are not doing anything overtly inappropriate all. It's just friendly affection, for certain. This is extremely tame and innocent compared to some types of cosplay I've seen available out there. Seriously, this is nothing to get rustled up over.
And some of you need to tame those hormones; asking for personal info is a big no-no. It's rude, scarily alarming, and may point to some issues you need to work out. The best way to meet people - and possibly a potential s/o - is to be personable and friendly, with moralistic integrity towards other people. Don't try so hard, don't get upset if the affection is not returned, don't get rude or offensive. I was extremely shy, withdrawn, and practically socially inept when I was younger. But being logical about things, and following those ideals you will open up and actually enjoy life and meet some great people.
