Okami Wii-treats to April 15

Initially "driving towards" a March 25th release,Clover Studios' swan song, Okami, is now set to arrive a few weeks later. Gamespot conveys Capcom's official release date of April 15, allowing Okami a bit of extra breathing room between it and mega-title Brawl.

Capcom didn't give an explanation for the "delay," but it's worth noting that Wii port developer Ready at Dawn just had its hands full getting God of War: Chains of Olympus out the door. So, go ahead and make the Wii version of Okami a Tax Day present to yourself -- you deserve it.

Strangely enough, distancing Okami from Brawl's release might actually make my buy it sooner than if it came out in March.

Actually Okami is not being made by Nintendo, rather Ready at Dawn. Look at Army of Two, GTAIV, Even the PS3 itself. That was supposed to come out spring of 06 but got delayed untill fall. Developers delay things to make sure all the bugs are out. Have you ever played a game you wish had been delayed because it sucked?

Damn I'm barely managing to handle school, work, and DMC4 & LO....

This and Brawl are gonna kill me...don't even mention the 360 games that I'm sorta interested in and the must haves.

People kept saying 2007 was a wallet breaker but I think 2008 takes the cake on that one. It seriously looks like a solid game will be coming out each and every month if you're Wii60 owner...
