"PlayStation is an extremely strong and well-known brand" Shelly Gayner, Director of Licensing, SCEA, said in a press release "We feel that this is a great opportunity for us to satiate our core fans and extend and capitalize on PlayStation name recognition by creating a new line of apparel in connection with the PlayStation brands and our top franchise titles." Memo to Sony: If you really want to satiate the fanboy audience, you'll put Sofia from Battle Arena Toshinden on a body pillow. We're just saying ...

FidliousWong (Oatmeal Defense Force) @ Mar 5th 2008 6:39PM
Elementary School student = confirmed.
Maverick Saturn @ Mar 5th 2008 3:47PM
Lol, I want God of war bed sheets, not, which prat would walk out onto the street with a game shirt on, no matter what console or what game, unless they want to be beaten up, lol
superaktieboy @ Mar 5th 2008 4:51PM
that, my friend, is called a fanboy
bigd7387 @ Mar 5th 2008 3:50PM
When is Sony introducing their Gaming line so I can play some damn games with this $500 paperweight?
Maverick Saturn @ Mar 5th 2008 3:52PM
I recommend optitions, get an eye test while your at it, cos you might have passed the games section of the stores you were in.
ThornedVenom (Harley Quinn Defense Force) @ Mar 5th 2008 3:55PM
You don't have to be blind not to be able to find an optition.
But you'd have to be not to find an optician.
Matt B @ Mar 5th 2008 4:26PM
Quit fapping all the time and that blindness will cure itself.
HighFiveJesus @ Mar 5th 2008 5:56PM
someone's trying to be edgy
Maverick Saturn @ Mar 5th 2008 3:51PM
Hm, saying that, you might just be able to get away with a GT shirt, or a PS shirt or Xbox shirt, doubt a Wii shirt would go down well, nevertheless, they would have to be fairly small logos.
FidliousWong (Oatmeal Defense Force) @ Mar 5th 2008 3:53PM
I love that society has evolved to the point where we can talk about a game shirt and not have to resort to "what kind of geek wants his ass kicked" comments.
Huh, what's that? Oh hell... too bad. Guess I have to run back to my Molly Hatchet wifebeaters, Football Jerseys, and rebel flag hat to be taken seriously by retards....
*orders DJ Max Portable 2 Syriana T-shirt*
Shimrra @ Mar 5th 2008 3:55PM
Wow I cant wait to wear this and show off how much of a loser I am to everyone. Something like this would be better if they offer this to the fans as free content thru PSN. Maybe its all these items are left over swag from previous E3 when people use to actually like going to it.
Maverick Saturn @ Mar 5th 2008 3:58PM
Maybe thats the plan, through PSN, still though, why the heck would you step out onto the road with a Little big planet shirt, hat or jeans.
I woudn't even want a little big planet mug, the game will do just fine for me.
ThornedVenom (Harley Quinn Defense Force) @ Mar 5th 2008 3:56PM
I see no Patapon shirt.
Maverick Saturn @ Mar 5th 2008 3:59PM
Hm, that wouldn't be too bad tho.
Bryan S. @ Mar 5th 2008 3:58PM
Beaten up for wearing a game t-shirt? Seriously? I mean, I guess if you're in Junior High or something.
Anyways, this is cool cuz I was just thinking why aren't there any other video game t-shirts other than Halo franchise stuff (which btw I bought a Halo 3 t-shirt at Target for $2.80, and I'll probably NEVER wear it)
Maverick Saturn @ Mar 5th 2008 4:00PM
Lol, well try walking into a bar and seeing how many girls you can pick up wearing a rachet and clank shirt :)
Nick the Hero of Canton @ Mar 5th 2008 4:07PM
Say you lost a bet.
Works everytime.
Nick the Hero of Canton @ Mar 5th 2008 4:07PM
...except that one time.
Crono (NDF - Knight of the Old School) @ Mar 5th 2008 4:22PM
I think I was wearing a zelda shirt when I met my wife.
lawlersauce @ Mar 5th 2008 5:16PM
And I bet she's a real catch...
lawlersauce @ Mar 5th 2008 5:20PM
The thing is, when I picture anybody wearing a t-shirt with gaming anything on it, I see them as a pimply, oily loser that is sitting in the corner by himself playing Sex Sim 4000 on his DS or whatever.
FidliousWong (Oatmeal Defense Force) @ Mar 5th 2008 6:36PM
That's ironic because anytime I picture the kind of guy who leans upon cliche stereotypes like a fat woman leans on an Amigo in a walmart, I picture some over muscled twat who's still upset he's serving Taco Bell value meals to all those "geeks" he hated in high school. Funny how that works.
Curtis the Claw Game Master V2 @ Mar 5th 2008 6:48PM
When your single you don't wear your video game shirts, then once you are with someone you slowly introduce them into the clothes you wear. My girlfriend that I've been with for 2 years hated games, after we had been together a bit I slowly tricked her into playing games one at a time and now she loves them and doesn't mind spending a weekend playing games.
FrankTheCrank @ Mar 5th 2008 4:06PM
What's the story here? They all license their logo's for T-Shirts. Just the other day I saw XBOX360 and Wii shirts over at Kohl's. It's not uncommon.
I'll take a GT shirt...thanks.
Mike @ Mar 5th 2008 4:07PM
Can I get some Sony toilet paper
PS: Just kidding. I own a PS3. No flames needed.
ZombiesRPplsToo @ Mar 5th 2008 4:10PM
hmmmm little big planet or ratchet and clank future...
Maverick Saturn @ Mar 5th 2008 4:14PM
Do they do these themes for vehicles? Playstatyon Bugatti Veyron ;)
Rubix42 @ Mar 5th 2008 4:15PM
Sign me up for a Nathan Drake original. I am looking to master the half tuck, and that shirt seems to be the only one able to do it. Plus the quick dry option.
Matt B @ Mar 5th 2008 4:28PM
Sackboy underpants please.
rbbrdman @ Mar 5th 2008 4:44PM
Why not any "In Shirt XMB" shirts?
Come on thats funny.
JayVe @ Mar 5th 2008 4:47PM
With Sony, it isn't about the games, it is about the BRAND.
Toasty Toaster Man @ Mar 5th 2008 4:48PM
If there are really parappa shirts, I'm sold.
deaftly @ Mar 5th 2008 4:55PM
"People will buy our shirts even if they had nothing on them"
Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Mar 5th 2008 5:10PM
..
That made me lol. +1 for you sir.
vaylen @ Mar 5th 2008 4:59PM
With so few franchises, they really could just put all of them on ONE shirt.
freecajunlove @ Mar 5th 2008 5:01PM
Do people think you will get beat up for wearing Sony shirts? Because I proudly wear my Pac-Man hoodie everywhere, have various Nintendo shirts, and wear my Xbox 360 promo shirt all the time... I've gotten countless compliments on all of them...
Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Mar 5th 2008 5:09PM
Yeah but the thing is, that's old school. if you wear a Zelda or Mario shirt, people will be like, HOLY SHIT!!! I USED TO FUCKING PLAY THAT!!! but if you're walking around wearing a goddamn Final Fantasy shirt, well chances are you'll get your ass beaten.
Maverick Saturn @ Mar 5th 2008 5:14PM
A final fantasy shirt with Tidus on it, thats asking for a joke or two
freecajunlove @ Mar 5th 2008 5:23PM
I can only dream to live in a world with Tidus shirts and Wakka wigs
freecajunlove @ Mar 5th 2008 5:02PM
And why isn't there a Lair shirt?
/sarcasm
Maverick Saturn @ Mar 5th 2008 5:13PM
the same reason there isn't a Genji one, lmao
Matt B @ Mar 5th 2008 7:01PM
....and also the same reason there isn't a Two Worlds or Blue Dragon shirts
Marry me Mario @ Mar 5th 2008 5:09PM
Yeah, you guys are way too cool to wear a gaming tee or hoodie or whatever. Strange, when I was in the videogame industry...people would ask me all the time where I got my Pogo the monkey shirt or Manhunt shirt or FFX hoodie. And not one time did someone beat me up or even threaten to beat me up. Thanks to Sony...games are cool, they have been since just after the release of the 1st Playstation.
Maverick Saturn @ Mar 5th 2008 5:12PM
Thats cos they did the opposite, they ignored you, lol
Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Mar 5th 2008 5:14PM
wait what? So you're telling me I was lying to myself when I thought the snes was cool?
goddammit.
Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Mar 5th 2008 5:14PM
@maverick
I was going to say something like that, but I thought it would be a bit too mean.
Maverick Saturn @ Mar 5th 2008 5:17PM
I'm kidding, but the concept is still kinda lame, back in the day wearing a lara croft tshirt was okay, but today, being much older and wiser, I wouldn't be found dead wearing something like Little Big Planet shirt, had it been GT or just maybe a God of war, then theres a chance, but only certain games with smaller more exciting logos, rachet and clank top just wont do, but put a patapon instead of the logo on a shirt, and I wouldn't mind buying.
Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Mar 5th 2008 5:20PM
personally I find a white plain t-shirt with only the logo pretty disgusting. If I'm wearing a video game t-shirt, it's gotta look pretty kick ass. I have one black t that has the whole first level of Donkey Kong on it. I'm not ashamed to wear that in public.
