No shirt? Sony launches official apparel program

Tired of searching Etsy in vain for fan-made God of War apparel? You're in luck! Sony today announced partnerships with four different clothing and accessory makers to feature the company's biggest franchises on all sorts of shirts and such. IV Gear has a list (shown above) of at least some of the franchises which will be depicted, including God of War, Ratchet & Clank, Resistance: Fall of Man, Heavenly Sword and Little Big Planet. Apparel makers Fortune Fashions, Bioworld and MJC will also put the games' logos and character on everything from hoodies to handbags.

"PlayStation is an extremely strong and well-known brand" Shelly Gayner, Director of Licensing, SCEA, said in a press release "We feel that this is a great opportunity for us to satiate our core fans and extend and capitalize on PlayStation name recognition by creating a new line of apparel in connection with the PlayStation brands and our top franchise titles." I dare not wear a master chief shirt or I'd be classed as nerd of the century and end up on hear as the topic of an article, but I wouldn't mind wearing a graphically designed shirt with a picture of Kratos on it, the same one with his back turned, that could be good. I always picture Halo as something more for pajamas then regular tops, lol

I have a Live beta shirt that says: "I've got great hands! Xbox Live Beta Tester 2002" I've never put that thing on, in my life,` in public.

I do have an Atari shirt and a Sega Dreamcast shirt that I wear though. Those are cool though.

I wear my playstation experience shirt at home alone, never when I'm going out.

Dude I rock the fucking video game Tees. When I'm out on the streets wearing my old school donkey kong t-shirt with my Zelda track jacket, people look and stare at my direction. And since they're not laughing at me, they must think I'm cool.

If you work in retail, and your employer sells Sony products, go here. Everything from free games to PS3 Polo Shirts. All you have to do is take quizzes on Sony products.

Actually, I do have to say I get a lot of "Hey, I like that shirt!" responses whenever I wear my Donkey Kong tee that I bought at Target a few years ago. Young kids, older gamers, and the groovy chicks alike dig that shirt. Now where'd I put that thing?

okay seriously...to u guys saying that wearing a game shirt will keep you from getting laid or get you beat up: if your t-shirt stops u from getting laid or gets you beat up then it is YOU not the shirt that is lame...
a t-shirt should not be the decisive factor in that sort of thing...that just means you have ABSO-FRIGGIN-LUTLEY NO GAME(no pun intended)WHATSOEVER...or ...you youself ARE NOT COOL ENOUGH TO PULL IT OFF...I'll rock a God of War shirt (or whatever other game just to prove a point) in the fuckin hood a few blocks away from here, or in class, or at my friends house, or at the bar and nobody is going to look down on me for it, let alone beat me up or ignore me...whoever u guys are, u probably ARE those oily-pimple-faced losers that were described in that earlier post....

now THATS how you avoid getting laid, and if your detemined to get beat up then you should probably go with either the KKK or the penises...maybe even american idol...
