Rocketmen: Axis of Evil blasts onto XBLA
7
We finally made it to this week's hump day and as with every hump day before it, we are greeted with a brand new Xbox Live Arcade release. And this week we're being treated to A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. Games' Rocketmen: Axis of Evil, which is available today on the XBLA for a cool 800 Microsoft points. Early reviews are mixed to whether or not Rocketmen is "good times" or "bad times", but we're confident in your abilities to garner your own opinion. Download the trial or make the purchase, just don't blame us if Rocketmen ends up being a dud.

What the hell is going on in there? At first it seemed ok. Top down dungeon crawler, ok, i'm there. But then it seems to just get out of hand.
I'm not sure how I feel about this.

It just seems unfinished and counter-intuitive in some unneccesary ways, mostly regarding the controls. And too many cut scenes...
I really wanted to like it. Well... I really wanted it to be a "Smash Bros. 2", to be honest, I guess.

PLayed the trial, couldn't wait for it to end.
This game is blah and unwelcome in my arcade.

The only annoying part to me is the forced Camera Movement. Other than that... I really like it ^_^ Nice to see an arcade game with some depth.

Couldn't even finish the trial... I'd honestly rather play the next Barbie game. This game sucked. The end.

@SABCA: Depth? The cutscenes were terrible. Some painful half-animation, half stills with terrible writing. The game play is nothing but frustrating.
Depth? Arkadian Warriors has a bit. Puzzle Quest has tons. Then there's lots of stuff in between. Personally, I think Discs of Tron has more depth than this game (and is WAAAY more fun).
