Shhh, half-price Undertow expansion available now for 200 MS points [update]

If the half-price sale hasn't sold you, here are some details on the Path of the Elect expansion. It includes five campaign levels, a new alien race called the "Elect" and four multiplayer maps. Now, go grab this deal in case it doesn't last.
Update: The expansion price has been changed to 400 points.

That's the way I feel. I'm pretty sure that there's a good game in there, I just haven't been able to find it yet. Then again, I heard the same thing about Space Llama and E4...

I think it was pretty good for an XBLA game, and the critics liked it.
It seems people around here are being too picky and just jumping on a chance to be overly critical.

I'm of the opinion that the single player game suffers terribly from grossly unbalanced AI. I've been told playing on easy is very easy. I played it on medium though and was unable to make any progress beyond either the second or third level. My team would wander off and do nothing while the enemy team would use squad tactics making sure that no attack was carried out with fewer than three characters.
I'm sure if you get a game full of human players it's a blast, but single player I found to be very poor.

I got it for FREE (due to the whole "ZOMG LIVE IS DOWN AND I WANT SOMETHING FOR FREE GODDAMN IT!" fiasco and I thought I'd be getting a decent game...
Turns out I was wrong. The game is complete sh*t.
So glad I didn't spend any points on it.

Huh... well I guess I'll be the first to say I liked Undertow. It's especially awesome if you have an HDTV. The effects are pretty fantastic. The co-op is fun too.
I do feel the classes are pretty unbalanced though. The larger ships and such are neat but have a very slow firing rate and consequently the regular diver class can just swim around them and take them out instantly.
Anyway... aside from talking about the game itself, 200ms points is probably worth it to me. I don't think I'll pay the $5.00 though if this little "glitch" or what-have-you falls through.

It wasn't as terrible as many seem to make it out to be. Though it does have some issues. AI for one seems to be rather nuts if you go above anything other than easy.
As for this expansion 200 points really isn't much so.. its actually pretty good! New content is good! Especially inexpensive new content!

I don't think it's a bad game. At first I played it and thought it kinda sucked, but I figured it's on my HDD, might as well give it an open mind. It's really not too bad, it's a nice UT-style king of the hill type game that isn't an awful experience. For 2.50 I'll probably actally pick up the expansion too.. why not. It's no Rez, but it's nice to play every once in a while.

nothing worse than KNOWING that you could've had it for less money (and that some ppl probably bought it for less)....so why would I pay for it at 400 points?? the game was ok, but I got it for free (xbl down issues).
does anyone else think that they're trying to make money off a freebie? expansion pack = money after giving you the game for free?
