Is it possible that, much like the role of Peter Pan in the theater, the role of elvish man-boy Link can only be truly portrayed by a lady? These two girls, caught capturing the Hyrulian savior's less verdant side, definitely make a convincing argument.

We don't know if its their pixie-like features or their horrifically deformed ears, but these ladies appear to have nailed Link better than any dude we've ever seen. You both are right and wrong. It all depends on the nature of the puzzle....

Fire and water are always the weaknesses of eachother...

But at the same time what if they are the "color" coded puzzles where you have to match them with their element to open them up?

No, Water Types are weak to Lightning, fools.

Lightning> Water > Fire > Plants > Earth > Lightning

The (dork) circle is complete.

But that depends on the element of which is used, if fire is really fire, then it can be doused by water, but if it is some other form of fire, then it may be able to overcome the magic that is water.

That also depends on the levels of which the water is, if it is a lower level or power then the fire power utilised, then it will not be as significant.

Thought I'd just add to this nerdy convo :)

Yeah, and Ruto totally tried to jump his bones, but nothing came of that.

I guess in TP his girlfriend is that village chick. Though she seems far more enamored by the horse than by Link.

Zelda's too good for Link, anyway.

In fairness, Ruto is some kind of horrific fish lady, I don't begrudge him for not touching that.

Just remember that Link was the number one hottest video game character as rated by some gay and lesbian pride magazine (website?) like LOGO or something.

I don't know that Link is gay, but he certainly beat all those Final Fantasy pretty boys by many years to claim the title of original RPG pretty-boy.

When I saw this on DSfanboy I thought they were guys. But the headline on Joystiq reads girls. I was mistaken.

So I've learnt I really need to meet more girls, I'm starting to forget what they look like. This worries me.
