6 months ago when they first announced the HD SFII Turbo I was so excited, but seriously, how long could it take. I haven't even heard anything about it going in for certification, so who knows how much longer before it is actually available.

Give me SF4

I'm on the side that is beginning to get less excited the more I see of SF4. I dunno. What we've seen isn't the final product, so it could be quite different by the time the official release comes. I hate the style of the characters. Too much monkey face and steroids.

I'm all for the re-balancing of a very balanced, high quality fighter. Not to mention remade graphics and music.

People call me Hadoken because I'm down-right fierce.

I'd always opt for the less expensive option with fighting games. I just don't think they're worth $50-$60 or even $40. They get boring pretty fast. Same with racers.

I miss the good 'ol days of Playstation bootlegging where I would drop $50 on on Silent Hill, FFVII or MOH but when it came to HydroThunder and Tekken it was a $3 rental and a $1 blank CD all the way.

My attention span isn't conducive to racers, fighters or even death matching for that matter.

But I would drop 800 MS points for one. Maybe even 1200 if it was real good.

Sorry but I can not partake in this vote.
I want any and everything SF, except SF the live action movie slash game.

Fighting games are best controlled with joystick.
I do remember playing street fighter on Genesis
Right.. The controller has six face buttons and the D-pad didn't suck.
I'd still consider drop 800 points for a remix

I want both badly, but I'd probably take Street Fighter IV, just as long as they make Capcom Classics Collection Volume 2 backwards compatable with the 360 so I can get Super Turbo that way.

Does anyone else really want to see Killer Instinct? I know I sure do...
I dont think Nintendo could pull it off, so XBox (and their rare connections) makes the most sense, right? I guess I just want another Mortal Kombat now also.

What do Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct have to do with Street Fighter?

neither.

I'd like a street fighter that looked like KOF 12 and moved like SF 3.

SSF2T: HD Remix all the way. Street Fighter 4 is shaping up to be a prettier version of the EX series (somewhat fun, but not really deserving of the Street Fighter name). The 3D models don't look that great, and it's a real disappointment that Capcom did not go with hi-res 2D art like KOF XII did. Not too crazy about the gameplay from what I have seen so far, but I understand that Capcom is still tweaking it.

And the reason ST:HD Remix is taking so long is because Capcom/Backbone is working very hard to ensure that the HD art assets look fantastic. Remember when some ST:HD art was leaked a few months ago? The internet justifiably threw a fit because the art looked terrible, so Capcom/Backbone went back to the drawing board to ensure that won't happen again when the final game is released.

And the game isn't just a port of Super Turbo with pretty graphics. David Sirlin is working hard to rebalance the game, giving lower-tier characters like T.Hawk and Cammy improved moves and properties so that they can better hang with the upper-tier characters like Boxer, Claw, and Dhalsim. The game is really a new installment/revision of Street Fighter 2.

SF4 ftw.

SSFIITHDR is already available with original graphics, why change something that's not broken.

My uninformed ass thought that SFIV was the same as SSFII:LKJREIHSSDFL:J###HHKSHD with an updated title, so now I'm just more confused...

Why are they doing both?

blah, I'm just a fan of 2d fighters (wheres my guilty gear arcade god, where?) I think SSFHD has my vote.
Then again when I want a really good fight nothing beats DoA4

SF4 for me, interested in how it'll feel compared to it's predecessors.

And everyone knows newer = better! ;o)

Xav that's the funniest thing I've read all day! (Granted it's only 10 past 11 in the morning but I'm quietly confident.)
