Oh... don't be jealous =p

SSBB is an excellent 3D fighter... every other fighter is better in 2D, with sprites.

3D Fighters: Smash Bros series >>> Any other 3D fighter

2D Fighter: Marvel vs Capcom series >>> Any other 2D fighter

The Wiimote ALONE... it's way better with the nunchuk... you know, that analog joystiq included with every Wii.

And online play? They are playing online with people over Japan... of course is going to have lag... the game is not yet in USA.

Seriously Fernando?

Tell me you didn't type that with a straight face. So your telling me that Virtua Fighter is better in 2d with sprites? I don't recall any fond memories of the sega genesis port of Virtua Fighter 2.

I want this game to come out already so all the news can stop talking about it. I'm sick and tired of the game and it isnt even out yet.

Where's the skill? please, ignorance and you general level of suck arent excuses. Its can be just as much of a "button masher" as any of the games you mentioned can be. Oh, and an obligatory "lol, tekken" comment.

I guess I'm the only Wii owner in the world who has no interest in Brawl at all!

I hope you all have a great time this weekend but, personally, I'm just totally disinterested in any sort of fighting game... buttons combos, jump kicks... all that sort of stuff.

My son, who was a big Melee fan, tells me that SSB is a lot more than that... maybe I'll rent Brawl one day, just to see what all the fuss is about.

Uh,you can button mash in ANY fighting game. Plus, you don't know how many times i hear people say "stop using that SAME move" in all the games you listed. I never once heard that in smash. Partly due to the stale moves negation(where the move does less damage the more you use it) and partly because even a novice can vary their moves. Frankly to be "skillful" at those games you just need a good memory to pull of long strings of commbos/moves. I'm not saying Smash is better game than the ones listed,I'm just saying smash does require some skill and is less button mash oriented.

I don't really see the need for the spoiler warning, but whatever.

Also I reiterate my hatred/jealousy of you. Fuck you.

I'm very much looking forward to the remote-only control scheme, and I love d-pads, especially the wii-mote d-pad. D-pads are more efficient, durable, responsive, and the d-pad is the best choice for any fighter.

I've been using my wave bird. Nintendo is quite foolish to have discontinued it. They are selling GC controllers like mad.

When that Nintendogs pops up out of nowhere and blocks the battle, frustration abounds.
