Having been kept a pretty bad secret, it's a bit of a surprise to discover that there isn't really much at all known about the next entry in (what could be) the Lost Planet series. Having been revealed by the ESRB without anyone knowing anything at all about it is strange enough (is it an expansion? an arcade game? whats the deal?). But now it seems that the full achievement list has been made public somehow. The guys over at 360sync.com had the list, but were asked to take it down by a Capcom rep who also said that "Information on Capcom's new Lost Planet title will be coming next week." Now, while 360sync was asked to take the list down, we had the chance to grab it and it does answer some questions, though it of course it raises many as well ....
Suffice to say that from this side of things the game is shaping up nicely compared to the achievements from the first game, with better spread and a higher emphasis on multiplayer. Not only that, but the achievements hint at several new game modes/features. Mentioned are things like Coins, Medals, Titles, over 20 Online Maps, and Score Attack Mode. Whatever little we know about Lost Planet: Colonies, it looks to be on the right track. Hit the break for the full achievement list.
