I have a pretty easy time laughing at the fact you just said "YALLS".

It's funny how Justin would be Kirby, but Kirby doesn't have fingers so how would he hold the cup!!! I"M FREAKIN OUT MAN!
Apart from that, my week finally has a ray of light from the Joystiq Podcast. Now to actually listen to it.
Kendall B @ Mar 7th 2008 2:51PM
He obviously inhaled someone with opposable thumbs
Nesta @ Mar 7th 2008 7:42PM
More importantly, stuff generally doesn't fall out of Kirby's mouth, so much as it goes into his mouth. Contradiction!
samfish @ Mar 7th 2008 2:43PM
It's like that dream I had, except everybody is wearing pants and not on top of me...
homerj312 @ Mar 7th 2008 2:57PM
I'll never understand how people can like Call of Duty or Halo multiplayer more than Rainbow 6 multiplayer.

Could never be.

I loved David the Gnome. I still remember when he gave the gold nugget to the man and he ended up in jail.

That pic needs more man boobs.
XGM @ Mar 7th 2008 6:36PM
I think a Man, with 50 bird in his backpack is more ridiculous then a bear with a bird in his backpack. Especially when the man is (FBI ?) and kills hundreds of people just to find a serial killer.
Paragon @ Mar 7th 2008 7:06PM
I was really hoping this one might be called "MId-life crisis edition."
dantebk @ Mar 7th 2008 7:25PM
Justin McElroy stars in new game Yo-Yo Hero. Big plastic yo-yo peripheral clasps around the Wii-mote and is fun for all ages. Make it happen! I get 20% for coming up with the idea. Gentlemen, we are about to be very, very rich.
If you give me a Brush With Fame next week, I'll totally write a feature about how awesome (and skinny) Justin is at my new site: http://www.gamestache.com/
Rob Accomando @ Mar 7th 2008 7:38PM
the guy in the middle has the same color face and pants as the couch

Every fatass with a beard thinks he looks like Snake!
Dauragon88 @ Mar 7th 2008 10:27PM
Lol that picture is too amazing for words.
I actually wouldn't mind more Griffin in the future, he is pretty entertaining to listen to :D
Oh and I love the fact that when my favorite band (Deftones) finally gets into Guitar Hero everyone just takes an enormous dump allover them XDDDDD. S'all good though, the DKM pack is a much better deal anyway.
Keep it up guys, and MORE GRIFFIN!
Dan CiTi @ Mar 7th 2008 10:43PM
Too bad you made fun of Thrice. Except for that it's good.
Korova @ Mar 7th 2008 11:39PM
Justin, you cheeky plumber you.
May I suggest fitting a princess peach dress over (ross is it?) off to the left.
Donald @ Mar 8th 2008 12:35AM
Any chance someone can steal Griffin's DS for a few moments and show us his Pokemans?
And by someone, I mean Justin. I know it'll never happen, but I can't help but be curious as to what he uses.
Griffin McElroy @ Mar 8th 2008 10:15AM
Well, friend, I'm glad you asked.
Usually, I roll with:
Torterra
Honchkrow
Lucario
Golduck
Lucario
Raichu
to cover all of my bases, type-wise. Once I nab the national dex, I'll probably get into breeding and EV training, and switch up my team. I'd like to get rid of Raichu, and eventually, Golduck, for two other dual-types. I'd also like a strong Psychic type in there.
However, I recently became deeply entrenched in the magical world of Professor Layton, so my Pokeballs may be gathering dust for a while.
Also, don't judge me.
Justin McElroy @ Mar 8th 2008 10:36AM
I have no brother.
Justin McElroy @ Mar 8th 2008 10:36AM
...Well, except Travis.
Griffin McElroy @ Mar 8th 2008 12:06PM
I think it should be brought to everyone's attention that, for quite some time, Justin's DS played home to a cavalcade of pokemans. He would come to me, shaking, eyes bleary from a long night full of shed tears, asking for tips on how to beat the Steel Gym leader.
There, on the doorstep, I told him.
"Ground type," I would say, comfortingly, "or fighting."
You can pretend that your doorstep confession never occurred, Justin McElroy, but the Mine Badge in your backpack will never forget.
Griffin McElroy @ Mar 8th 2008 12:13PM
And how very foolish of me! One of those Lucarios should be a Dialgia. The last thing I need is for all of Joystiq to think I'm some sort of Lucario fanboy, one of the more insipid groups among pokeconnoisseurs.
RobLink (McElroy Defence Force) @ Mar 8th 2008 3:17PM
Kids, c'mon. Stop bickering. Let's all just agree that the pokemans blow.
*runs from incoming fanboys*
hvnlysoldr @ Mar 12th 2008 6:26PM
I'm laughing at the shown pokemans.
Moeez @ Mar 8th 2008 12:53PM
I don't mean to be defending CONDEMNED, but every single point Justin posed as flaws of the game, I could give very simple answers. The only thing I can't defend is, the ending. Actually, maybe he went insane and became "transformed" just like the other "condemned" (all the bad guys). Combat's not broken, you just suck. Blocking is an integral strategy, and barely will enemies have guns.
But hey, Justin's opinion doesn't count, although him suggesting that people shouldn't play it was totally biased, because loads of other people love it. It's a lot of fun playing the combat, better than other FPS melee systems (Oblivion, Dark Messiah, etc.)
Man, my fears of this being a bad podcast were right, every crew member is cynical and pretentious and trying too hard to be funny. Even Ludwig can't save it. Great website, crap podcast. :| Oh well, so many other podcasts out there (CAGcast, Hotspot, 1UP Yours, GFW, Destructiod, Player One, etc). See ya.
RobLink (McElroy Defence Force) @ Mar 8th 2008 3:15PM
Oooh, you were almost in for some trouble for a minute there, but as it wasn't aimed at either of the McElroys, that's OK. I'll let the CGDF take care of you.
I do think you're wrong thinking that the poyad-cayast isn't great though. If it can make me cry with laughter, it must be pretty damn good. The yo-yo bit cracked me up.
But hey, dif'rent strokes.
THE WICKER MAN (BWF) (GT: Dalek Prime) @ Mar 10th 2008 2:44AM
Its gameplay is lacking, environments are good but often too bland, the intersting idea of crime scene investigation and detection is squandered and the combat is the same as elder scrolls, and DMMM. Thank you for the SPOILER, and so much more.
Mischa @ Mar 10th 2008 6:03AM
Chris Grant defense force GO.
I like how you started off by saying you were going to make a laundry list of rebuttals to everything that was bad about the game, and it then consisted of "only a few enemies have guns", "you just suck", and my personal favorite, "you're just biased and shouldn't be talking about games". I mean Chris talks about games for a living, so you're right, he is pretty biased.
And while yes it is true that few enemies have guns, that doesn't matter. There could be one enemy with a gun, and you will literally have no idea where he is when you are being shot, and since it takes somewhere between zero and 1 bullets to kill you, it really doesn't matter where he is, you will die if you haven't either:
1. Known about his position prior to playing the level,
2. Turned the brightness on your TV all the way up, or
3. Put the difficulty on easy.
Because you can't actually see him until he fires, and since the AI is so atrocious, when he fires, he WILL hit you, and for some reason, his gun shoots a hundred bullets, a hundred times faster than yours. I had one bum get 3 rounds off of his shotgun *in rapid succession*, and killed me because I was dumb and thought that after his first shot, he'd have to pump the shotgun, just like I do when I pick up his damn gun.
Moeez @ Mar 8th 2008 12:55PM
Oh sorry, LOL, I meant the previous post at Chris Grant. Justin's cool :)
Chris, work on the "umms" and "uhhs". It's an amateur podcaster's first sign.
Moeez @ Mar 8th 2008 1:15PM
"Portal for $50 would be a STEAL" - Chris Grant
One of the dumbest comments I've ever heard. There's no logic in that.
RobLink (McElroy Defence Force) @ Mar 8th 2008 3:27PM
Plenty of logic - GOTY 2007. Worth $50? Absolutely. Maybe not to you, but certainly to a lot of people.
