If you're anything like us, the promise of being able to play in a world being ripped asunder this beautifully is enough to bump this pretty high up on your "must play" list for the summer. Let's just hope the gameplay lives up to the world.

Who's that crazy kook destroyin' the world?
It's ZORC
It's Zorc & Pals.
The blood of the innocent will flow without end!
His name is Zorc and he's destroyin' the world!

The name isn't very creative but it looks good.

This company really wants to see the Statue of Liberty fall, doesn't it? They have the same thing in "Turning Point"
The video's encoded at 6.71 fps. Now why would they do that?

Some of these threads (should I say most?) just go haywire. But the thing is, I love it!
Anyway... this does look promising. Though the gameplay needs to match the beauty of this world, like you said. So I guess in time, we will see!

Sweet! I hope the Wilhelm Scream makes it into the final game. It's at about the 2/3rds mark on that video.

Oh its all crazy and crap... until... GHOST BUSTERS!
That right. Legendary has been the fake project name for the new Ghost Busters game coming out. Wow, they had me fooled for a second.
(Yeah I wish. I'm sick of the same old FPS crap.)

Looks like it has the same poor aiming, and ugly graphics problems of Turning Point. Meh.

Okay, I got a chance to play an early demo at EIEIO and I'm a little iffy on the game itself.
Minor spoilers
Obviously with it being an early demo I'm not going to be to harsh on the game. The controls were a little off. Either the overall sensitivity was to loose, but when you turn the sensitivity all the way down, sighting using the scope becomes way to slow. There were 3 enemies in the demo (4 if you include a second type of monster) and there abilities could make for an interesting battle. The biggest issue here is that don't have a whole lot in the way of variety of attacks. So they charge straight at you most of the time. The detail in the game itself was pretty good, similar to a slightly lowered version of Gears of War.
Again this is an early beta and it is definitely something I look forward to as an original IP, but it needs some work before its Fall release.

Why does everything have to be set in New York?

Everything about the game is whimsical except for the gun... couldn't a bunch of wierd gadgets come flying out THE BOX too? Like maybe one of those Russian dolls where there's always a smaller version inside the one before it... and they all pop out and form a little army of evil Russian dolls with laser-beam-eyes and you can direct them where to go and what to attack? Or maybe a pogo stick that lets you trounce enemies and get to platforms you wouldn't be able to reach otherwise? Maybe freeze-ray, or a sword that turns enemies into harmless baby versions of themselves, or.... look all I'm sayin' is: machine gun? shotgun? rifle? C'mon, seriously? More generic crap... boooo!

Yeah, cuz we all know crazy concepts are only allowed in Mario games and Ratchet and Clank games. I believe Nintendo owns the patent and Insomniac Games pays them royalties.
