After hopping onto the XBLM this morning, we were surprised to come across new downloadable content for none other than The Darkness. Odd, no? The new DLC can be found under the "New Releases" section of the Marketplace under the not so convenient title "Darkness MP Map: DM_Haunt" (uhh, wha?). The content features the multiplayer map DM_Haunt which is set in the streets of New York City, a new death match and team death match game mode as well as the ability to customize your shapeshifter, darkling or human character. The best part about the DLC is the fact that it is 100% free. Worst part about the DLC is that it's for The Darkness' multiplayer of which we don't know of anyone who has played it in the last three months. Oh well, free content is free content.

I got the Darkness free with my Bioshock. Maybe now's the time to bust it out and see what the deal is. Free DLC is my favorite kind of DLC.

Ummm... yeah, the multi player wasn't good times in my opinion. The single player was fun as hell though.

ummm yaaaaah not really we get free maps for online thats still broken it would be fun if it didnt lag so dam much i mean even if you play only to players and it stills lags so pass on this even if it is free it'll just be wasting space on your hard drives

That game was awesome.I got all the hard MP achievements except for playing 50,100 and 250 matches.
The servers were too lonely.I hope people play this game at least so I can get at least the 50 match achievement.

Is it still lag-city?
I got it when it came out, and got one MP achievement in the one match I played (a killstreak or something I think), but the single player was fun.
