Only once you had managed to conduct a study on 1,200 middle-schoolers to support your theory.

I have, except the school board wouldn't let me conduct a survey so I tested a legion of midgets. We also concluded that we drink water when we're thirsty.

The under evolved (aka non-games) need this study to finally get it through their skulls that games don't kill people non-gamers do, just look at suicide bombers.

Makes sense, actually. Video games are this gneerations 'blowing off steam' mechanism. Nothing wrong with that. In actuality, we all have wyas to blow off steam and get out our frustrations of dealing with our own personal, daily grinds.

While I tend to play the occasional video game (time permitting) or read a book or 2, I opt for the gym, the boxing ring. Something physical.

But then again, it all comes down 'to each their own'.

It sounds like the other side of the truth.

The whole truth is that different people get different things out of video games. Gaming does not drive personalities, personalities drive gaming habits for most people. If gaming takes a substantial portion of life for a long time, there is a possibility that the games may change a person. But most people dont play that much.

The older generation fight the symptom by condemning games. Need to look at the whole person not just the gamer part.

What it really boils down to is do want freedom or do u want oppression. I am 23 and I run my own business. Why is it "wrong" for me to kill cartoon people with a cartoon gun to deal with the fact the the retards in my area never go the speed limit? If they ever take my video games there are gonna be alot of slow moving MFers in ditches unconscious.

Though of course it will be(that is if it's actually an intelligent take on this issue) ignored by parents everywhere because, "WHAT? THAT'S NOT RIGHT!! FOX NEWS SAYS VIDEO GAMES ARE DANGEROUS!!! AND I TRUST THEM SINCE THEY GIVE UNBIASED NEWS REPORTS AND ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH. THIS BOOK IS A BOOK FILLED WITH LIES AND DECEIT."

"most played 'to get their anger out.'"

Most? Seriously? What kind of lives are these kids living that they have this much anger to "get out"?

I play these games because they're fun. Am I a freak?

Parent's will rely on this bull to deal with their children instead relying on their own parenting skills. Its sad that some people are gullible enough not to think for themselves.
