I wasn't aware that someone mentioning almost buying something was something worth further commenting on. But here we are, 3 comments later...

Dang scammers! The Dreamcast was awesome.

I'm with Jawsome. How could Sega ever lose the domain? Sad.

You know, in spite of all this, does anyone else get the idea that everyone is still just happy for a reason to talk about the Dreamcast again? I've never seen a console looked back on with such a warm, friendly glow in the rose-colored glasses of nostalgia.

Even I'm not immune. I dug out my copy of Typing of the Dead, the greatest typing program ever and almost solely responsible for my ability to touch-type. I mean, which whould you rather have:

"Type this sentence as fast as you can. Then try and beat your speed."

OR

"Type this sentence right. freakin. *now*. Or ZOMBIES WILL EAT YOUR FACE."

This explains the Tempus Sans ITC. I thought it was a little odd for Sega to choose such an inappropraite font.

The fact of the matter is that SEGA made one of the best consoles ever in the Dreamcast, but basically lost half their potential customer base with the 32X/Sega CD/early Saturn abandonment fiascos.

Still, the Dreamcast rocks and to this day has some of the best fighters, action games, and wacky shit ever.

I mean how many graffiti, maracca, and fishman games do you see on other systems? haha

Wow you guys are really big DORKS! DC has better graphics than PS2? DC has better games than the new nex gen systems? Are you people out of your damn minds? I myself had a DC and absolutely LOVED Shenmue, but thats as far as it goes. I traded my DC for a gamecube(just for metroid prime), but then I traded that crapbox for a PS2. My PS2 lasted 6 years. It still works, but now I have a PS3 and I would never ever go back to anything as old as DC.
Sure I occasionally load up my emulators on my PC to play a quick level or two on whatever old classic game but I then realize I'm wasting my time and just start playing PS3 or PC games. Call me 'newer fashioned' if you will but every system prior to 360/ps3 is total crap in my eyes. It's like trading in your 2006 BMW 3 series for a '70 dodge dart. No comparisons. Btw, don't bother flaming cause I don't care what you think :P
