New games this week: Super Smash Bros. Brawl edition

What, are you surprised? The featured game this week is none other than Super Smash Bros. Brawl. We'd almost like to give it to George of the Jungle for going toe-to-toe on the Wii with Smash. Keep on chasing that rainbow, George.

Still trying to unlock Sonic...

I'm digging Snake though.

Is he unlocked in the SSE or just through Brawls? Cause I havn't gotten him yet...

Can you unlock people in the online mode?

I as gonna spend all that time to unlock sonic, but i haven't had much time to play, so i just played shadow moses island a few times for snake, beat the game on very hard then beat all the target matches for link to get lucario, and went to do the things for that day.

I just got to the part where samus gets her power suit and said, ITS TAKING TO LONG TO GET NEW PEOPLES :O

so i left it and will return to unlocking sonic later today :D

but i did get green hill zone by taking a lucky guess with my golden hammer! :D lol

There are 2 or 3 ways to unlock him. The SSE is one of them. I don't remember what the other two were.

And that PS2 WWE game is cheap. 3 out of date WWE games. It'd be like if EA packed Madden 05, 06, and 07 together and charged you 30 bucks.

I kinda wish I never preordered from walmart.com, must play this now. At least they gave me $10 off the game back when they had that preorder for $20 fiasco, but still, waiting sucks. On a side note, this is complete bullshit with the friend codes, what a hassle.

Agreed...I'm kinda dreading online...

But then again I guess some online beats NO online at all.

Still though I hope Nintendo grows up next gen...

It's sort of amusing to see all the same kiddies who are first to scream "Halo 3 Sucks", going ape shit over a game with little sprites jumping around on screen, from a bunch of games that have been recycled a thousand times over.

But no matter. OMG... I getz to kill Mario with Pikachu and Samus? Nintendo FTW.

It's amusing to see someone take the time to bash a Nintendo game yet takes offense to the idea that Sprites and 3D Models are two different things.....

I thought World Heroes was April... pleasant suprise. Time to get my Nazi Extendo Robot Beatdown on....

Brawl is awesome, especially multiplayer.

OMG, a new Wild Arms game, plus Ratchet and Clank. Where are your priorities, people!!!

Nah, I just wish I had a Wii.

Anyway .. In other news I just need Winning Eleven to be happy so I'm gonna get a copy this week or the next one.

I just hope Konami release a path / fix for the frame rate problem.

Well Brawl is proof taht nintendo did not forget abotu the hardcore gamer. I'm especially impressed with the vastness of the story mode (subspace emissary). I'm 10 hours into it and only at about 38-40% completion!!! This is a big step over the adventure mode in the gamecube version.

Plus, I love Snake's moves and attacks, they add such a nice touch, espectially when playing against pokemon, hahahaha.

I might pick up Final Fantasy, and condemed 2(SP?) because I already got Brawl on saturday night.

Not a great week to release World Heroes Anthology, I'm guessing. Those were fun games back in the day, but if you show up to the store in the mood for a fighting game, there's a good chance you might choose SSBB instead.

This is weird because I love Nintendo and a lot of those characters. I also love fighting games yet....I cant get into this series. I actually have Melee but didn't play it much. Maybe I'm immune......

It's much better when you're playing against people and not the computer. Single Player in Melee was not very fun.

I cant wait to get home from work to play this. I hope online works today.

I'm getting Bloodshot this week.

The cover art is very sexual.

The guy with the red hat with the 'M' on it looks like hes fuckin that yellow cat thing...then theres the elf dude with the dildo sword. You've got the girl in the back wearing the pink probably exposing her left breast behind them all. Whoever that dude is in the armor looks like hes jerkin a firehose...

Man nintendo is sick!
