I can't wait to see what he will make up next, but I hope that as he moves forward he helps in making Zone of the Enders 3. I would love a new ZOE game on the PS3 so much.

Also, I don't have any links, but I remember awhile back in two different interviews with Kojima, he had said that we would like to try new and different things after MGS4 and in the other interview that he would like to develop a game for the Wii in the future so it would be interesting to see what could come of that.

I currently have a 360 and PS3 but have had no motivation to get a Wii since there aren't many good 3rd party games and the same Nintendo games I've played since SNES just isn't my thing anymore. If he makes a good game, I might just get a Wii.

If it's outside of the MGS universe, it's not ZOE3. The MGS timeline encompasses the MGS games, the ZOE games, Policenauts and Snatcher.

Either that, or the article is mistranslating (or the original is deliberately misleading). I certainly hope it IS ZOE3 though.

Isn't the popular rumor that he is collaborating with Suda 51 on something tentatively dubbed "Project S"?

He doesn't seem like one to collaborate, unless it was a minor role in overseeing. He looks to be quite the control freak, which is a good thing given the quality games he's released.

I saw this roundtable interview thingy awhile back (i think it was on 1up show) featuring Suda, Kojima and that guy from Q Entertainment (i dont remember that guy's name). But Suda was joking with Kojima that they should work together and Kojima agreed. So there is some base this rumour.
But i would rather see a new ZOE.

They say his next project is outside the MGS world. And also tell us that there will be no announcement of what it is this year.

Why the hell tell us then? Why would the studio even go to the trouble to talk to a journalist to say that? That told us absolutely nothing!

Kojima said in a interview for the underground back in 06 that he planned on doing a ZOE3 on the PS3. Plus its the only logical thing. The only other non MGS series that hes done in the past decade or so is ZOE

As I was reading this, I was thinking "ZoE3!". But when my eyes came across the idea of Kojima working with Suda for a Snatcher game, the idea of ZoE paled in comparison.

We need more old-school adventure games updated, like Dreamfall or Fahrenheit (or the upcoming Alan Wake).

But I wouldn't be opposed to ZoE3 :D.

Whatever it is, he better make it for the 360/Wii if they plan to recoup... MGS4 will not sell like that When the install base is divided like the PS3 is, Profit plays a huge factor in future titles from Konami.

Snatcher. Give me downloadable Snatcher episodes on WiiWare, ala Sam and Max on PC or something. The first 3 could be a remake of the original game. Then the story continues.

I've been holding onto the dream of a Boktai for the Wii that utilizes the Forecast Channel for weather effects.

Though it looks like Lunar Knights is most likely to continue existing as a series... *sniffle*
