Sure, the Super Smash Bros. Brawl stage editor is a great way to extend the value of the game, but it's only really valuable if you and your friend-code friends have the creativity to come up with interesting stages. Those of us with no creative talent and/or no friends are out of luck!
Enter the web, which has already filled in some of the stage-sharing holes Nintendo left in the game. IGN's recently launched Smash Bros. supersite already has a selection of over 100 user-created stages that players can download to their SD cards, while the Smash World forums Stage Browser currently has 85 or so stages available. Each site offers picture previews, easy instructions for uploading and a rating system to separate the wheat from the chaff. Now if someone could just hack a way to play these user-created stages in online matches we'd really be in business!

Wait, you can't use created stages online? That's kinda lame.

Because obviously people are too stupid to create surprise penis-shaped stages, after those download + wait times it takes to start a stage, which just creates a heavy weight for the fast-paced experience and more pressure upon the console's powerhousing capabilities.

Well, unlike with Halo 3, the hype is completely worth it.

That's funny, because everything I have read/seen says that the single player isn't that great, but the multiplayer is what really makes the game.
Kind of like Halo 2/3...

Brawl has always been intended for a multiplayer experience. After all, I don't know any novel from which it was based, for a storyline.

agreed 100% - it's annoying to brawl friends in silence or to have to use the phone. I should be an easy fix if they release a patch.

Dreamcast 2.
I mean Xbox 360.
Though I wish Nintendoh (see what I did there? Yeah, rate me down) would do the mics thing.

Ventrilo. Skype. TeamSpeak.
Try Googling any of those terms. Next, install them. Then you can spend time playing instead of bitching.

I love the Stage Editor and I'd love to share my my two Penis Stages(they actually work too!) but my computer has no SD slot which makes me sad.

Don't say that! That'd be the end of gaming! It'd be too amazing and there'd never be a need for any other game, or life for that matter.

Why does everyone want a wii hack for a headset. Here's an easy work around. Get a Skype, stickam, msn, etc account and get a wireless headset and your ready to go. Here if your using skype http://us.accessories.skype.com/DRHM/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayCategoryProductListPage&SiteID=skype&Locale=en_US&Env=BASE&parentCategoryID=4141900&categoryID=7033200

People want unified standards instead of 3rd party non-integrated solutions (I mean, I'd sorta understand if the game was for the computer, but you don't have any option for the Wii itself).

It's no where near the same as the original. There's no surprise pokemon popping out. Yes I'd pay $10 for the original on VC just for that stage.
