Mega Man Star Force 2 coming in June
The local- and WiFi-network-able game relies on collecting new characters and collaborating with friends. With the right connections, players assemble a "portfolio of Battle Cards with distinct attributes," according to a Capcom fact sheet. We've been trying to get the kids -- and our closeted adult gamer friends -- off Pokemon for years. Maybe this is a step in the right direction?

Mega Man is always good... but I don't like this series.
But you should try Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent on the DS... awesome games, old school Mega Man =p

After all the trouble gamers have had with "StarForce" copy protection, I can't believe Capcom didn't consider this when naming this game. I hear the words "Star Force" and I immediately go into dry heaves and convulsions.

I hear you man, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw this article in the RSS feed. I'm sick of being "rewarded" for purchasing a game by getting intrusive DRM planted in my system while the pirates that get it for free don't have to put up with that. Seems a bit backwards.

It's not. Pokemon outclasses StarForce in every way possible. The Battle Network games are much better than this series. And both ZX games were good but am I the only one who wants a return to the 8 boss design?

The last good Megaman game was Powered up ! in the PSP and I don't mind telling you that it was bloody great.

I have ZX but Powered up! is better.
Unlockable characters,DLC,level editor,Classic and story mode,new bosses,voice acting and sharing.
ZD is kind like X.Is cool but I don't like the characters one bit.

I played Star Force, but thought it was a step down from the battle network series. I'm really looking forward to this, though. I figure once capcom's refined the game forumla a bit it should come out much better. When I first played Battle Network 1, I thought it was great, but then Battle Network 2 came out and it was Flipping Awesome!
If capcom had made some kind of special edition version of Battle Network one updating the game formula to that of battle network two's, I would have gladly re-bought the original for full price, maybe even more.
And that is what I hope will happen with Star Force Two.

Capcom...just stop it with this. Give us a long overdue Protoman series that finally ties together the connection between Megaman and Megaman X.
I think everyone wants to see that happen, and even let us come up with our own robot masters. Here's 8 of mine:
Chill Man. Lava Man. Sand Man. Pace Man. Wire Man. Cell Man. (yes, a cell phone motif) Bug Man. And....Blade Man.

i have played every american and some japanese megaman game (favorite is X :)) but i like this game for the brother band system too bad they lowered your favorite card selection
cant wait for the release
also the anime was pretty good but they ended it too early and the end confused me with everyone coming back

actually its not that its not fun but its at an experimental stage.i think capcom is trying to make it fun by involving some touch screen commands.
