There were top down levels in Bionic Commando? Or is that just a new thing for the remake?

yes... there were top down levels in bionic commando -- they happened when you were travelling on the map screen and got hit by a vehicle.

I can't wait for this game!

Looks bloody beautiful.

A shame it's a sequel to an old game with horrible gameplay. If that gameplay has transferred over then MS won't be getting my points :(
