Despite the inability to get actually drunk over virtual alcohol, there are MMOs celebrating St. Patrick's Day. If you're looking for the biggest virtual parties this side of Norrath (and on that other side, too), the MMO-obsessed over at Massively have you covered with a handy guide of events for the week.
Conspicuously absent from St. Patrick's Day celebrations is World of Warcraft, but if you happen to find some drunken dwarves in Azeroth (or other ad hoc festivities), be sure to snap a photo and send to WoW Insider.

I'm Irish, and appropriately don't remember Saturday night. March 17 conflicted with Holy Monday this year, so it was changed.
The Catholic Church, being the founders of the holiday, have changed it before. Don't worry, it won't happen again until 2160, and no one will blame you for enjoying tonight!

what's this "St.Patty's day" crap? It's St.Paddy's day! and it's today! If it's not then why was there that parade though the city (Dublin).

Actually, it was only on Saturday if you lived in IRELAND. Irish Bishops moved the IRISH celebration date to Saturday. The rest of the world is unaffected by such decisions
