If possible I hope these smart-ass hackers find a way to ignore/bybass friend codes or something to fix the Wiis online problems(a list that seems never ending)....
But even if they can't it's great to see all this happening....Imagine 6 months from now all the great and wonderful things the Wii will be able to do....

I dont' care bout pirated games. I'm probably the only 1 but I'd rather buy a good game at the store. I'd love 2 see some good apps hit the wii tho. Seein what all has come of PSP homebrew I can't wait to see what dev's come up with to use the wii's controls in some tight ways.

You're not the only one, but the Internet sometimes makes it seem otherwise (though piracy is still a problem).

Hopefully if an update blocks their method, it will be hacked again. Maybe they can keep up with wii updates like the iphone guys keep up with apple's updates.

Also, think of how cool it will be if this continues... the wii might be something people hack for years past its intended lifetime for emulated and homebrew games.

While this isn't piracy, I think this sort of hack could well earn a Nintendo firmware nerf. Loading games is one thing, but from the company that brought us the unfriendly friend codes, I expect that they're not going to take someone hacking into the channels.

I don't support piracy, but a free browser channel would be nice. There's no reason I should have to pay $5 for a free browser ported over to the wii, especially when Nintendo already gave it to thousands of people for free.

I'm excited for homebrew on the one hand, on the other, this may lead to people hacking/exploiting/cheating in online games, and that would be absolutely tragic on a system that's just beginning to get started in online gaming. You can't put that genie back in the bottle.

This is awsome! But I'm not shure if I got it correct: if you have a Homebrew Channel, then you don't need to run Twilight Princess to play homebrew software, so you can for example rent or borrow the game for a day?
