Maybe.
Tone @ Mar 18th 2008 12:23PM
Buying the PC version for sure.
ncxcstud @ Mar 18th 2008 12:25PM
how much space will it take up on XBLA? I know it won't take 650MB like the PC version...but how big is it supposed to be?
Lars @ Mar 18th 2008 2:30PM
I read somewhere that they had to reduce the graphic quality for XBLA because of the limits on download size.
Fernando Rocker @ Mar 18th 2008 4:41PM
Lars
Thats old new... Microsoft allowed Capcom to exced tue limit... it will be the same quality.
You need to read Joystiq more often =p
aahatimy @ Mar 18th 2008 9:35PM
I've never had of this. Unless you can prove it by showing me somewhere it says that the size limit was lifted than I would have to call shenanigans.
DMeisterJ @ Mar 18th 2008 12:25PM
So what's the download size for this game?? I want to know how much Capcom broke MS's upper limit of download sizes by.
Zodiac @ Mar 18th 2008 5:29PM
I'm surprised to see the recommend specs for this game. I had no idea it was a somewhat graphically intense title.
Haon @ Mar 18th 2008 12:32PM
I cant wait. Listening to egm live now with Jeremy talking about it.
Bleu @ Mar 18th 2008 12:37PM

Nate @ Mar 18th 2008 12:56PM
Can't wait! :)
P.S. I find it very odd that in the "recommended specs" is an "XBox 360 Controller for Windows"
When has any game had a specific controller in their recommended hardware specs?
Lars @ Mar 18th 2008 2:31PM
When MS started trying to take over the gaming world.
Worst Review Ever @ Mar 18th 2008 1:00PM
I'm gonna wait until "Bionic: Going Commando" comes out.
Luka M. @ Mar 18th 2008 1:10PM
on Steam plz!
eldee @ Mar 18th 2008 1:15PM
it's deals like this that make me love digital distribution. I would easily pay $20+ for this game, but if I can get it for $10 and still buy a pizza I'm a happy camper.
Dnice @ Mar 18th 2008 1:26PM
Its silly why this is not coming to the Wii... it would be cash cow on the Wii.
ViagraFiend @ Mar 18th 2008 1:37PM
Storage space.
Mike @ Mar 18th 2008 1:26PM
So is the PSN version still the one to get due to it's unrestricted file size limit?
ViagraFiend @ Mar 18th 2008 1:35PM
They said that they were going to be identical.
Lars @ Mar 18th 2008 2:35PM
From Kotaku:
"Bionic Commando Rearmed on PC will have high-res textures. Bionic Commando Rearmed on PS3 will have high-res textures. Bionic Commando Rearmed on Xbox Live Arcade? Not-so-high-res textures. BC producer Ben Judd has said that, thanks to Xbox Live Arcade's file-size restrictons, which limit games offered on the service to 150MB, the XBLA version's textures won't be of the same quality as those found on the PS3 and PC."
Mike @ Mar 18th 2008 2:42PM
Beyowned. I guess I'll make up my mind when GameTrailers.com does a head-to-head or something. Achievements weigh a bit more than a slight bump in graphics in my mind. I was just wondering if need to look into it first.
ViagraFiend @ Mar 18th 2008 3:25PM
@Lars
Thats old news. Since then, they stated due to XBLA allowing them to use extra space, they will be identical.
Delgado @ Mar 18th 2008 9:08PM
Just read Lars' comment history, and take nothing he says for truth. Just a propagandist for his console of choice, and likes to bash Microsoft whenever he gets a chance.
If he really wanted to be helpful, he could take (literally) 30 seconds and check his facts.
Mike @ Mar 19th 2008 9:31AM
Oh nice. 360 version it is. Thanks for the clarification.
Lars @ Mar 24th 2008 5:04PM
That's BS. I don't lie and bash for the sake of bashing.
I bash any company's mistakes equally, and I state my well-thought-out opinions rather than just being a sheep like most people and regurgitating what the majority says. It's not my fault that MS makes a f'ing huge amount of mistakes. It's true though that MS is on my bad side more so than other companies... I've had to work too closely with their crap over the years.
Anyways, I did check for any size limit changes and found nothing beyond the initial cap raise to 150. I saw no such article on Joystiq stating the versions would look identical. It would have been more helpful for you to post a link or a quote such as I did.
But hey, if that's the case then I retract my comment. If both look the same, that's great! Play them on the console of your choice then. Choice is a wonderful thing.
LordJezo @ Mar 18th 2008 1:35PM
I wonder if they will add a jump button for us in DLC form.
umm....hello??? @ Mar 18th 2008 1:45PM
umm...that would defeat the purpose of the bionic arm...
umm....hello??? @ Mar 18th 2008 1:47PM
...or were you poking fun at useless DLC that they could charge us for and make extra money? ;)
umm....hello??? @ Mar 18th 2008 1:42PM
I'll probably get the PS3 or computer version of this (using my x360 controller for the computer--I hate kb/m). MS's DRM FTL.
does it include the original BC?
umm....hello??? @ Mar 18th 2008 1:43PM

A beautiful looking remake of one of the greatest games of all time. I am salivating at the prospect of getting this. I can't take $10 out of my pocket and put it in their hands fast enough.

Coming for PC? Now that's the best news for quite a while so far. If it's going to be close to the 10$ mark then it's a no-brainer insta-buy.
Cowdisease @ Mar 18th 2008 3:01PM
Guys, Capcom confirmed that the XBLA version of Rearmed will be the same as the PSN version. Microsoft gave Capcom an exception to the file-size limit, so PSN users can no longer claim that their version is better than the XBLA version.

Disappointed no one wants to see Hitler's head explode in HD.
