They really need to add something more to this value proposition.

Why aren't early adopters--the ones who made COD4 a best-selling game and helped make it the number-one game on Xbox Live--being rewarded with free maps? Bad PR move, Activision.

Lucky me, I bought my copy for $ 50.

I agree with Iliad Force on this one. Up until now I wouldn't have thought twice about buying the new maps but now that they're giving them away for free to those who HAVEN'T played the game yet? Ridiculous.

Up until this weekend i was going to purchase the new maps when they arrive, but for some reason I this game lost its fun factor. I think those 800 points will be better used elsewhere for now.

Well, It was just for those people who were on the fence about the game.

Oh, and if you thought that the DLC was going to be less than 10 bucks, you are crazy! That's the new standard for map packs now, started by GOW maps.

@ Iliad Force
don't feel upset, this is so that more people buy the game, they aren't "rewarding" any body.

Is this game going to cost $60? If so, why wouldn't I get the regular edition now for $40 (which you can find at some stores on sale) and pay $10 for the DLC?

Extra artwork?
