Congratulations, you did it! Why are we heaping our praise upon you for no good reason? Well, friend, you just joined Comcast's Elite Rainbow Six Bravo team. We don't know how you got the honor or why, but we know all you have to do is click this link to be automatically on the crew. For your trouble, you'll get the pride of knowing you're part of something bigger than yourself ... oh, and a free Rainbow Six Vegas 2 map.
The new map is called "Comcast Event" which is uncomfortably close to (read: is) super-blatant in-game advertising. But also, it's free, which makes it pretty tough to take a moral stand against. Enjoy.

I wish Vegas 2 was available on a handheld console.
Then I could play a couple matches on Comcast Event while I sat in the shiny new Lucas Oil Stadium during one of those boring Pontiac Drive Summaries.

I wish all DLC was like this... free and supported by those who have money. That should stop the bitching of getting nickel and dimed.

Our area recently went from Insight to Comcast and unfortunately, there are now the only choice for broadband in town. Which sucks because when you torrent, they bombard you with bad packets. Doesn't matter if the torrent is for a game patch or anything, they just blast you. Which sucks because that's how many MMOs distribute their patches including WOW.
You call to complain, you essentially get called a pirate. "Gee, thanks, fucktard. Good thing you now have to monopoly on my building otherwise I I could have a choice if I enjoy the extra $25 a month for increased outage times."

Oh yeah, Comcast's legal monopolies are fail. America's whole system of telecommunications is fail, but that's another story (our broadband speeds are a joke compared to other developed countries)
Basically, they sign a deal with my township. The township makes sure they're the only cable company in town, they pay the township for the privelege, then pass the costs onto the consumer
Fortunately we have the option of Verizon, which we took, but i feel for ya

Is this is the same exclusive map that you can ONLY get if you pre-order from GameStop?
If so, that is super damn annoying.

Hey, it might be fun for the 7 Comcastians who've decided to d/l it.

Hopefully this is the map I've been waiting for - the one where you get to open fire inside of the Comcast billing and customer service depts' offices.

Actually, if more DLC was ad supported and therefore free, I really couldn't complain. And if you don't like comcast, then imagine you shooting in some other loathed company arena.

I hate Comcast as much as anyone, but a free map for a game I've been waiting for, I'll take it. Also if you sign up on the Ubi website, you will be able to DL the streets from Vegas 1.

So I picked this up today and played through the first several levels with my bro over Xbox live. My impressions:
First, it is a lot like the previous game. There's really not much to differentiate it with the original. The co-op is fun as always, but my squad tends to just get in the way. The graphics are honestly a bit disappointing. I've had plenty of graphical hiccups and pop-in. All in all, a pretty decent game if you liked the first one, but it doesn't really hold a candle to COD4.

I'm not quite aware of any differences between our RoadRunner, Comcast, and AT&T services.
