We're making your BFF bracelet right now, Europe. As folks that are very good at taking credit when they have absolutely no business being within the same room as it, we thank you for listening to us and buying this amazing game called No More Heroes.
According to MCV (via Chart Track), the game was #4 in the Wii charts for sales following the game's release. And in the All Format charts, the game took a rank of 20th. The strong sales for No More Heroes are something that we're glad to report (we have a hard time shutting up about this game) and hope helps lead to one thing: a sequel.

I remember the elation of buying one of the 160,000 copies shipped at launch last Friday. I felt like I was the only one. I'm glad I wasn't and that all of Europe knows what a good game this is.

I'd like to know how it is w/o blood. To me, that one feature really makes it stand out. Awesome job to the EU!! Maybe this will help entice 3rd parties even more.

You know, I think the lack of blood in the European version wouldn't bother me. As long as the actual fun and frantic combat is still there.

Aye, the thrill of the gameplay will still be there, but the artistic joy is depleted
However, i'd like to see some more solid specs

I got my copy from amazon.co.uk a couple of days ago and I am really enjoying it so far. Though does anyone else feel the motion-controls are a bit stiff and only register with really laboured, strenous actions, particularly with the suplexes? I prefered the light, subtle flicks of the Twilight Princess combat.

I've found them to be very responsive, to the point where they sometimes register my movement in the wrong direction as beig correct.

I love the controls. I even read that you can make a bigger impact with the death blow by shaking it hard and many times.

It took little effort for me to do a suplex and the like. A simple flick of the wrist was all I had to do to perform a wrestling move. The controls are very responsive indeed.

I've played both and have the UK copy, the lack of blood doesn't distract you at all. In fact it gives you a nice retro-arcade feeling with the coins making it seem like your being rewarded for taking out a bad guy. This is the best game, grasshopper are the best. Punk's not Dead.

I'm still waiting for my US copy to arrive - the blood was a dealbreaker. I hope this sells well throughout Europe, though.

i feel guilty for not being part of the first week sales, but i really cant afford to get a new game at the moment, crazy deadlines.

I've seen this game advertised so much here it's peaked my interest, but I think with Brawl and Kart I'm good for a while. Maybe I'll find it on sale on Black Friday.

they should just think about how many more copies would've been sold if they had brought us the us version. I'll be buying a US version if the freeloader proves to be safe.
