The PSP has been gaining a lot of momentum lately, both from an increasingly impressive stable of games and the constant updates to the already feature-rich firmware, which seem to come every time you turn around. In fact, let's turn around and see what we find. ... Hey, it's firmware 3.93!This one, we'll admit, isn't a huge leap forward, just 20 new players for the internet radio feature (we're also assuming there's some under-the-hood modder thwarting as well). But hopefully it's a nice, free surprise on your Tuesday morning.

I think I read it in PSP fanboy.
Fernando do you really need to write in every SONY related post?
About DarkAlex, I thought the same thing, until not too long ago I was perusing through some modding websites and noticed that he has returned from the grave. Which ultimately made me happy.
So I turned on my PSP and found out that I had just updated the firmware to the point of no return on the older model....then I was sad.
Does the PSP support DIVX/XVID files?
And Fernando, is Dark Alex like an M3/R4 adapter?

The PS3 does DIVX...why not the PSP? The PSP would be perfect for the DIVX format...but might eat up the UMD movie market.
"but might eat up the UMD movie market."
What UMD movie market?
I really don't think that people are still purchasing UMD movies to play on their PSP any longer. If I remember correctly, Sony's answer to that was going to be the ability to purchase a movie on your PS3 and copy it on over to the MemoryStick on your PSP.
You just beat me to it....lol
Sorta use the radio function quite a bit.

PSP is probably the slickest lil electronic device I got gathering dust. Internet radio was neat for like 30 seconds. Got it streaming on wifi and hooked it up to my home stereo. Actually sounded pretty decent... okay now I'm rambling.

I find myself less interested in things like hacks and homebrews, and especially things like UMD's and internet radio because I'm spending so much time playing good games like Chains of Olympus.

Really if someone took away the PSP game playing megachip and sold it for half the price it is now I'd have bought one much sooner. Needs a killer app. Still.
