This list still gives one a good idea on what is coming to the PSN. And this is the EU list...so the NA one should have most everything out earlier.

I've never fully understood why companies like MS and Sony hide release information. Sure they want to keep it vague as to not upset people with the nearly ubiquitous delays these days, and they probably want to stagger release dates to best sell systems and games, but all the secrecy annoys me sometimes.

But, its nice to see Sony getting some good content. Everyone thinks its going to the PS3's year, but I'm not sold on that just yet. MS has a pretty strong lineup, too, so these "console wars" are going to heat up this summer and fall. And that's only good for the gamer. More competition = better games all around.

You can't really say MS has a strong lineup. We really don't know what it is. We have some vague ideas, but none of it is confirmed by any means.
...and don't even get me started on Nintendo.

Although I agree that Sony's lineup isn't the killer that everyone thinks it is. It could easily turn into 2007 all over again with a bunch of poor or under selling new series.

Well, except for Gears 2, in regards to MS.

I do believe Sony may have the best line-up this year. Everyone can agree that MS had a great line-up last year, but Sony is getting their heavy hitters out this year. With LBP, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear. Many my argue that the last two are hyped but their track record proves them otherwise. And then there are four sequal coming out the were, Resitiance 2, MotorStrom 2, Killzone 2 and Tekken 6. And still there are a couple of question marks like SOCOM, inFamous, Eight Days and The Getaway. None may sell as fast as Brawl, Mario Kart or Halo but they well sell.

The last FOUR FFs weren't that good, and the 360 would get a better Metal Gear remix if history is repeated again.

You can't seriously be badmouthing Final Fantasy IX? Or VIII if you're not counting XI. :-\

Could you give up the 'superior version of MGS4 to be released on 360 two months later' bullshit? Have people not posted that ancient 18-disc set shoop enough times for you to understand that this one is just staying exclusive?

Nice to hear Dark Mist will be expanding outside Japan. It is a really nice old-school isometric top-down shooter with RPG elements (think Legendary Wings meets Druaga). The Japanese release has already seen an expansion pack that changed the entire game and 5 additional pieces of DLC.
