LOL. if this lets me post...SICK.. heres my opinion. COD4 is great, yet seems to be lacking since the last update... so what does IW do!? They start a map contest and tell everyone on XBOX Live that there is a contest, yet u have to be an owner of the PC version of COD4 to even open the map creator they let u download. Is that stupid or did someone in IW tip too much from the bottle. Next up, is for u idiots thinking that IW did all the work on those maps themselves. theres a reason the map contest came out..HERE IT IS!!!... IW probably spent less money on these new maps than i have spent on flippin toilet paper in the past month. someone was talking about how IW has to pay microsoft a fee for posting late content. Thats why this country doesnt like bill gates. Hes a prick that is trying his best to get himself BACK into the richest man spot because microsoft gave him the fkn business and told him he wasn't what he thought he was. Microsoft makes us pay for Live, makes us pay 60 dollars for EACH game, then makes us PAY for more maps so that people will still be interested in the fastly declining community of cod4. its simple, cod4 was awesome until everyone learned nade spams, juggernaut, and all the maps inside and out. It's like counterstrike, but the flaw is: counterstike has custom maps, cod4 doesnt, and cant. if tehre was a map creator and a forge like halo 3, there wouldnt be a better game. i dont know how OLD and LAME it is ALWAYS playing bog, showdown, all the lame ass maps they decided they wanted to come up with. If you guys think they have to spend time trying to make maps fair, then wtf was IW thinking when they made downpour or wetwork? To offer cod4 material on xbox live for a price, and to offer it to the PC users for free is obsurd.. Microsoft is the cause of all the problems, and they will be for time to come. Its a money grubbing company led and founded by a loser geek that does nothing but want money. Lots of ppl will buy the new maps, but what happens to the ppl that dont?...they cant play on the new maps? thats like telling someone that bought a new car that they cant experience its luxuries until that person buys the fkn key itself to turn it on.. 10 dollars for 4 maps that im sure possibly costed them FRACTIONALLY from what they will receive in charging ten dollars for 4 maps. think of it like this, we payed what..60 dollars for the brand new cod4? it came with around 20 maps and all the content and everything the game includes. WHERE the HELL do they come up with 10 dollars for 4 maps?..ludacris, and anyone who says its not should (GOTY) GTFO.. lol

i hate showdown, but I love shipment because you rack up the most kills there. I got 109 and my friend got went 117 and 26 (deaths). its craaaaaazy!

well for starters your forgetting the ps3, all the 1.5million + ppl hu play that will be paying for this , and ten dollars is jack ... thats only a fiver over here which in my eyes is nuffin as i ern 250£ a week (500$)n im only 19 n thats after tax ... i mean comon guys you brought into the franchise when you brought the game, you brought into the franchise when you brought a console, u dont buy a console and dont buy games, thats the reson of a console , then when you play online you get bored the publisher thinks hummm how can we keep these suckers hooked and make more money, well the answer is make maps as cheap as possible and charge for them what they see a reasonable price, it might of cost them maybe 2 million for both ps3 and xbox then theres making them compatable , pc is free as xbox and pc have not far off the same parts ( xbox= pc in a box ) ..

finally someone that doesnt talk crap back to my opinions lol...true that u buy the console, and then are locked into buying games and etc, and i make more than 500 a week at my job, and im only 19 too lol. the price isn't what gets me, its just lame that we got to pay for game content which sole purpose is to keep ppl interested in the game lol. this would be perfect is the maps costed like 5 dollars considering us as a the cod4 community designed the maps. lol.. ps3 online play is free, live isnt. they should be charged for the maps, we shouldnt :) lol, just my opinion

in the dlc they should include the winter crash like the pc version..though ive never seen it, and only heard about it..it seems like it would be cool... lol except..isnt crash in like iraq where theres no winter? lolol...someone at iw drinks too much hahaha .... needless to say tho im glad IW did cod4 the way they did, and im mad that cod5 is ww2 based..thats getting old lol...i remember when cod4 first came out...over 300k online at one time, and was generally always around 150k average. yesterday i looked during what should be peak hours and it was only 80k..that says a lot. im just curious as to how many ppl will actually buy the new maps..and how many will complain lol..as i am :) sad thing is, if i could make a map for cod4 that they would put into online game play, id spend eery second working on it and perfecting it so that they didnt have to do a dang thing..then id want them to say thanks to jbrown for helping with the map and they could have it for free... unfortunately thats what they did with most of the new ones, and still think its okay to charge its loyalists.

MAKE X-BOX LIVE FREE, WII and PS3 are both online free. Show your support by adding "MAKEXBOXLIVEFREE!!!" to your motto and MXLF in any game featuring clan tags such as COD4. I agree that its alot of cash for downloadable content but i wouldnt mind if usings the system online was free! Look at GH3 (Guitar Hero 3) 500 Points for a 3 song pack OUCH! (i got um anyway had too)
