Well, there's good news and there's bad news. The good? You're about to see a boatload of footage from upcoming RTS Tom Clancy's EndWar. The bad? The Frag Dolls are the ones doing the demonstrating. Let's talk gameplay first. In our opinion, the graphics are solid but the UI looks a bit jumbled. Of course, that's usually the way with an RTS until you know what's going on.

Thanks to the game's voice command, just the sound of the Frag Dolls' voices is enough to make troops start shooting people (a reaction we completely sympathize with). We can't decide if our favorite moment is when the blonde one (Scary Spice?) punches a fist in the air and gleefully shouts "World War 3!" or when she punches lower and gleefully shouts "Yeah! Weapons of mass destruction!" In truth our favorite part is after the video when you the viewer get to hear what the Ubisoft-employed Frag Dolls think of the game. (Spoiler alert: They love it.)

Somehow I doubt the impartiality of the frag dolls' impressions of the game. That said the idea of voice commands is intriguing and I would like to see what actual journalists say about the game.

And people wonder why girls don't game. If it was a guy doing the demonstration you'd have said nothing but since they are girls you feel you have to comment? We don't take issue with the fact that they are girls playing games.

We take issue with the fact that the video has been designed around showcasing these girls to us *instead* of the game. The use of girls in this preview is completely a marketing decision, and simply serves to interfere with presenting the game to us.

Also: if they could use the voice commands for more than "calling all squads, attack foxtrot", that would be nice.

Sounds like jealousy of the frag dolls to me. A lot of guys play games and only wish they would receive corporate sponsorship for doing so (paid to play). They are getting that because they are females. If you were them, would you turn down that offer. They aren't actresses or models and shouldn't be expected to be such.

If you need to blame somebody, blame Ubisoft.

I don't mind girls playing If they are good at it no problem with me. I play with girls all the time in Rainbow6 vegas they trash talk alot but I really don't care I don't know why this guys are complaining? they want hot supermodels playing instead? Any of this girls can take any of us

It's not the fact that they are getting paid to play, or that they are all ugly that annoys me. It's the fact that they are just all so ultra lame! Like the blond one cheering for world war 3 and weapons of mass destruction...and then they have their little talk after about the game, that was just utter trash. It kind of reminds me of how Shadow the hedgehog was suppose to be all dark and edgy but in the end you just laugh at how pathetic he is.

beyond the annoying ladies, it looks like there is going to be alot of information overload to much going on at once and you start to forget about units off camera. i hope the controls/AI are rock solid, from what was on the screen this game looks at best a alpha build, no effects/shaders etc, but i just hope it looks next gen enough to match all the promotion material they are using.

Now i am worried they won't be able to pull off the graphical end of the game.

please dont fuck this game up ubi its probly the best tom clancy inspired game idea ever.

Silly consolers? Right... A $400 xbox 360 has more graphical computing power than a $500 Nvidia card. You'll also need at least another $500 of hardware, and $200 in software around that card just to get to the same point. 1/3 the cost. 100 million times more convenient.

Besides, voice control is still more efficient than a mouse.

P.S. - Starcraft 2 will be the awesomest.

Roulette is hot, indeed , I just love the redheads. The game looks pretty freaking sweet too, although not quite up to that CGI video they used to show it off originally. I think you guys should quit dissing on these ladies, just because they have a job you would kill for, and would never talk to you (because you really need to brush your teeth and take a shower, then get a haircut , lift some weights for months and lose 25% of your totall weight) , doesn't make them bad or ugly.

I'm getting sick of Tom Clancy games, their jingoist message, and his stupid alt. history storylines. That man has no grasp of world events, and apparently, the US can only engage in conflicts with drug dealers, Russians, the Chinese, Muslims, or Latin Americans.

"WORLD WAR 3!" Good to see the Fragdolls are so pleased with the concept! I like the idea of voice command, though.

When something new comes about, please don't feel the need instantly shit all over it. If some girls want to show off a video game, let them, and let it go. If any one of these girls talked to you, especially about video games, you'd cream your pants in about three seconds.

Well, I haven't really been paying much attention to the details on this game, but this video is the first time I've heard that the voice commands are duplicated on the controller, thus making them non-essential. That's pretty lame in my book. If you are going to try something new, commit to the thing. I can predict many a review saying "the voice commands are nice, but they seem limited because they had to duplicate the controller buttons. If only the designers had gone that extra mile...."

You guys are being way to judgmental of these girls. They are alright, although they seem very nervous and self-conscious.

The game actually looks pretty good to me and the voice command, if it works, would make gamers even crazier than the people who talk on their handsfree on the street.
