Just a little reminder for our obsessive Halo 3 gamers, right now Bungie just rolled out Team SWAT into Halo 3's search-able matchmaking playlists. The social Team SWAT playlist, a Halo 2 gametype where Spartans are stripped of their motion tracker and shields, will be available through March 23rd and offer up twice as many experience points as part of their previously announced Double XP Weekends. The same type of weekend funnery that the limited Griffball playlist was a part of. So, hop online, practice your headshots and rack up the XP. We know we'll be participating and winning ... often.

Why is it too late. Not everyone plays those other games. Take Dustin for example. He only plays Halo 3 and nothing else. At least until Gears of War 2 comes out.

Does it matter? Counter-Strike has been no.1 for the last eight years but I don't see a bunch off fanboys getting a stiffy over this fact.Oh and gameplay wise Halo 3 is better. Forge/Theater > Everything besides UT3 mods on PS3.
Oh and it's TAD unbalanced too.Let's break it down into candies.
Halo 3:A little bit of luck and hard work will get you a nice and strong strawberry candy(Let's say a sniper rifle). You'll kick ass with it.
CoD4: Everybody can start with a strawberry candy and own people who consider strawberry candies cheap and stick to traditional toffees, thereby pressuring them into using strawberry candies too in order to stop loosing against other people with strawberry candies. So in the end, everybody uses a Strawberry candy while , at the same time, bitching on IF forums that Strawberry is too tasty to eat.
Martyrdom and 3x Frag make me scream at night.

SWAT hell yeah, like some of you guys said, i wish they would put swat into a normal ranked rotation. This is my favorite mod, no shields and no radar = a true skill game.
and now for some reason i want some strawberry candy...

Yeah this SWAT is NOT what I loved from Halo 2. There are grenades, the body shield is way too high (6 thwaps shouldn't be required even if they were all body shots! Three tops!) The infinite ammo part sucks too, that was always a fun challenge: trying to stay alive long enough to actually have to search for dropped BRs.
