Wasn't this supposed to come to PS3? Still, i heard it was horribly disappointing. Reactions from people who have it?

As a self proclaimed rpg enthusiast, Two Worlds was a very solid RPG. That being said, the frame rate was terrible, (although there were HDR settings you could tweak to help that) and the vo was even worse. People that need their eye candy, likely wouldn't give the game enough time to shine.

Now, there's plenty of room to argue whether or not a game should have even been released with the issues Two Worlds had; nevertheless, it was a solid rpg, and personally, I'll be picking up the sequel.

I just "prithee" the tech difficulties are fixed on the next installment. ;)

What a prime piece of irony this sequel's title is.

Ha ha... Nice. (+)

At least the screenshots make it look like it could theoretically be okay. Raptors? Check. Knights with lootz? Check.

Meh. I'm sure it's going to be horrible.

It wasn't the combat that was broken, infact, it was much better than say Oblivion. It was just more or less the freakin' terrible framerate, constantly.

I have to disagree. I think the combat system in oblivion was much better. The magic use was more comfortable as well. Thats my opinion at leasat.

I got Two Worlds off of Steam for $10. It was a good RPG IMO, especially at that price. It didn't have any of the launch bugs because I bought it so late and since I have a good PC the performance is fine. The animations were awful however!

Frame rate issues ruined it. I am a little upset that this is a full blown sequel, and I spent a lot of time building my character stats!

I'll be getting it, though.

Two Worlds is an RPG that really frustrates me. I love the setting. I love how it looked... it is gorgeous.

But man. The frame-rate (on the 360) just can't be over looked. It totally jarred that the game was even let out of the developer's door.

I really wanted to love this game, but as it stands it's a steaming pile of shat.

People bash two worlds way to much, i picked the PC version up off of steam when it was 9.99 and its really fun. Ive been playing it almost every day in SP and MP and its a really nice RPG. I hope they dont change the combat to much ,i liked it quite a bit

I guess since this is a sequel it will require the making of a new charecter.

I was excited for Two World when it was announced then I rented it and immediately returned it. With the terrible voice acting, ugly animations, horrible framerate, and awful menu system I don't see how anyone could enjoy that game.

Maybe they'll actually play the game before releasing it to the general public, instead of just slapping some code together and pushing it out to hand on Oblivion's coattails.

I made the mistake of buying the first one, and I definitely will not be purchasing this one. At least not before an extensive analysis of if it's better than the first one, which shouldn't be that hard... but still. And the frame-rate will need to be above ten in order for me to buy this.

Actually, I got it for 50% off at Best Buy expecting it to be a throw-away exprience, but I ended up really enjoying it. If you got it after the patch and cleaned your cache, the game ran pretty good. They also left the programming console in the 360 version -- so, you could improve the framerate by, say, turning off the grass (major improvement then).

The combat was actually quite good, and I loved how you powered up your equipment. The story was actually ok, and the side quests were good. The voice acting was atrocious. I'd give the game a 75% - it was quite playable and fun enough for me to play through once.

If the sequel fixes the issues players had, the sequel may actually be quite good.

Two Worlds is one of the worst game I have ever played.

I have been playing RPG's since the late 80's and it is by far the worst RPG I have ever played.

It's main proponents say I have to play it for five hours to really dig it.

Umm, waste five hours of my life playing a terrible helps how?

Two Worlds was the most expensive piece of garbage I've ever bought. It can't believe that game was even released.

Well 2Worlds did have a couple of frame rate issues (more noticeable then anything), and the Voice Acting didn't really cut it but the game was still really really fun. I personally will at the very least try the demo and most likely buy the full version. I'd give 2Worlds a 8/10 (brought down from 10 mostly by poor VO and some technical shit).

A good RPG? Two Worlds? Are we talking about the same RPG here? Because I remember a poorly optimized piece of shit with very poor art direction, a completely broken character building system. In an RPG, I should not be at level 40 after eight hours, and I should not be able to stomp level 60 critters using nothing but the healing spell I started the game with and the first level of the Earth Chains spell, which costs next to no mana to use and stops EVERY enemy, regardless of level, from attacking for a good ten seconds, with no cooldown on that ability. I was able to go from something like 300 HP and 40 strength to 800 and 90, respectively, after clearing out two dungeons populated by (hilarious-looking) demons who dropped alchemy materials that permanently boosted strength and HP when consumed raw. Weapons stacking on top of one another made for a retardedly powerful version of the sword you start the game with. And don't get me started on the aesthetics. Crappy bland vanilla fantasy that was not even as interesting as Oblivion (and that's saying something) and riddled with horribly voice acted characters who spewed cringe-inducing Fakespeare...

Two Worlds is a terrible, terrible game by any measure. If you played it and thought it was good I have to think there is something wrong with you.

Anonymous: You now what is really terrible? People complaining about a balancing bug, claiming that a game is no fun because you "can" do this. THAT is stupid. The game might be no fun IF you do that, but similar to cheating, you have the option NOT to.

If the game would be fun if it HINDERED you to do this, why don't you do it yourself. A bug stays a bug and I agree that in total it lacks any finishing (better balancing being one of those issues) but at least on the PC it is an enjoyable game - not perfect but enjoyable.

What about doing a little ROLEPLAYING in a ROLEPLAYING game and simple restricting yourself. It seems to me that people really miss the point of that, which is that even if there is NO RULE you should act IN CHARACTER - that is what the whole genre is about.

I fail to see how this warranted a sequel...

Honest to god, I had high expectations of the game, online MMO for the Xbox 360 that you didn't need to pay an extra fee for? Sign me up, I said. Good lord how wrong I was. Online capabilities, falsely advertised. Lip synching, terrible. Character creation, I could barely see what the hell I was doing with my character. Combat, sweet jesus it made me want to claw out my eyes.

All that being said, I would like to emphasize how I believe this game did not warrant a sequel.

Well i think Two Worlds is a great game. Ino it has its flaws like bad frame rate and very lame conversations that killed you to listen to, but hey what game doesnt have its issues. Even Obivion had its issues. I played the game throughout and they have good ideas that i hope they improve in the seQuel.

They should have cut their losses and call this a new game entirely.
