GameDaily reports that in a follow up conference call to the announcement, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot stated the company is looking to make a Tom Clancy MMO. Guillemot also guessed the MMO would cost around $50 million to make. Yes, but will it have the prerequisite elves and dwarves in there to become a phenomenon?

I never read any of his novels, but other than this, all I have heard are good things.
I have never played a Tom Clancy game though. So I don't have a very valid opinion anyway.

If Nintendo someday release an MMO with all the Nintendo characters, it will kill even WoW.
Just imagine all the Nintendo universe combined... =)
PokeMMO, however, would throw WoW to the ground, stomp violently on it's wind pipe and proceed to piss in it's open, gasping maw.
Nintendo Properties: Rape Island
PokeMMO... that would be a big threat for WoW =p
What in the world would a Clancy MMO be like? What an unnatural fit! Seems like another soulless (and late) attempt to jump on the MMO bandwagon in the fool's hope to ride Warcraft's golden coattails. A PokeMMOn game makes immediate sense from a gameplay perspective and you can think of all kinds of possibilities and new ground for it to tread, but a Clancy MMO? Are you going to go out and kill 10 terrorists and collect their headbands as proof?

What I'm really hoping for is a real shooter on the Wii with real controls, similar to Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 or MP3: Corruption. If only...

I am just shocked on them sinking that much money into this with it being so far into his francises.
That being said, Ubi, I had this idea about a team of cops who shoot people for whatever reason at various places around the world because of...cold war issues, yeah, thats it. Can I have a few million please?
