We've got more than a feeling that next week's Rock Band DLC is bringing a six-pack of songs by Boston. All the tracks hail from the band's self-titled debut album which has sold over 17 million copies. Not bad for a bunch of guys from the small Minnesota town of Lake Wobegon -- no, they're actually from Boston.

Videos for this week's Rock Band DLC can be found after the break and this may be our last week doing them as audio previews are now available through the Rock Band music store patch available now. The Boston songs will be available next Tuesday and Thursday for Xbox 360 and PS3 respectively.

I wonder if Rock Band would organize albums of artists if they release entire ones. I like album art so please Harmonix, display it.

This sort of shit makes me want to pick up RB for my PS3. But I don't want to pay $150+.

If I could only find a guitar and the game...

eBay seems to have single guitars, but $99 is a little steep. At that rate I might as well buy the whole setup.

Standalone guitars will be available April 1st. Though for the price of the game + guitar (120), you may as well pick up the whole thing and get the drums, that's half the game you'd be missing out on if you didn't get the drums.

Stop hurting yourself! If you are even remotely interested in the concept of 'Rock Band,' you'll probably love it. Buy it immediately. The new online store is great too.

I bought it for the PS3 and I think it's the better version as long as you don't care to play online - you have wireless guitars, and you avoid the lame 360 'multiplayer log-in' menus that add another level of confusion to the already poorly-handled Rock Band player/instrument 'join' screen.

And yes, I'm such a spaz that I have both the 360 and PS3 versions, so I can qualify that opinion.

With Foreplay/Longtime already in the game, we almost have the full self-titled album now. The only song missing is "Let Me Take You Home Tonight".

I'm curious why they didn't just add the the last song from this album and have this be their first album release. "Let Me Take You Home Tonight" isn't my favorite song but for completeness' sake.

Totally out of control. Amazing. These are certified classics from Boston - I haven't been watching the rumors about Rock Band lately and this hits me like a big ol' box of tea thrown towards the harbor. I had no idea.

The cold, hard reality that I must now face is that it's more likely that the UFO from the cover is going to come carry me away than it is likely I'm going to be able to actually SING these Boston songs. It was like my pet died the first time I tried to sing 'Long Time' - it was so depressing realizing how shitty I sounded, after wanting to try that song for weeks before we unlocked it. I'm more on that Thom Yorke vibe, I can't belt it out like that dude from Boston.

Still, I am adding funds to my wallet, and I will take the punishment.

Two things.

1) Please don't remove the videos. I understand that the new Rock Band store has song previews but that would be a whole week away from when you post these videos. I normally listen to each of the songs (your videos) that whole week to see if I like it or not. I probably couldn't decide if I wanted a song or not jsut by listening to a 30 second preview. Sure their are other ways to listen to the songs if you don't post the videos but this is just so much easier... for me at least.

2) I will have to agree. Why not just make this the first album dlc if they will have 7/8 songs in the game next week. It will bother me to no end knowing that only one song from the album isn't in the game. No matter how much I like the song. Seeing as how my opinion doesn't matter to HMX I can only hope that "Let Me Take You Home Tonight" will eventually make it into the game.
