My friend was telling me that the 360 version has massive amounts of slowdown offline. Maybe they should just have waited until it was finished.

I can not stand it. I have no idea how many times I cant connect. They better fix this immediately if they want to regain there respect from gamers. I guess this is what you get for rushing to release a game that had problems with the PS3.

Main reason I refused to be this game was b/c the first game was terrible with its online offering. I don't just mean bad.....I mean absolutely abysmal. This game is just a recycle of the first version.

Woo hoo my comment got in ;)

But yeah too annoying, i think by getting it out in the open rather than Ubi keeping it quiet is far better to speed up the fixing process....

Also some people on the ubi forum are thinking of goin to trade commission to file a suit....

So first of all Ubi releases Assassin's Creed which was full of bugs and white screens. Now they've released RSV2 which is plagued by on-line bugs.
Remind me someone, who's publishing Haze in a couple of months?

This is just annoying...
There should be laws against the release of unfinished/untested/buggy software.

I could connect to about 4 games today, but was disconnected before finishing even one of them.

yea just imagine, if companies in other industries were allowed to release bad/buggy products... like a george forman grill that only cooks your pork chops 60% of the time. hah

I bought this game because Vegas 1 was really fun. I cant even connect to a game and even if I do the host quits :/. Its getting really annoying.

Don't get me wrong, I'm loving the single player but I can't freaking get online!

lol congrats Nick!

But yeah it is really difficult to connect to any game. Me and my mate tried to play a game 2day, all we got was "Cannot connect - server error" or some other excuse.

Ubisoft should do what Rockstar games did with Bully - apologise for the problem and fix the problem in a week.

I hope it gets sorted out soon though - the original Vegas was brilliant!

(I've sent this message three times as a reply to nick but they don't appear so i'm hoping this one will without the reply)

that seems to happen to too many PS3 games. Devs need to start switching to make the ps3 version perfect then port to 360. Cause this crap just makes these usually good companies look incompetent.

Man I feel you guy's pain.

Honestly in my opinion the gaming community was robbed on this one.

I'm a 360 owner and I haven't had THAT many problems. But I do feel pain for those of us in the community that feel like they got shafted.

The only problem I noticed is that the game drops the host connection after every ranked game. If you go to non-ranked the game plays fine.

Complain until we get what we want !!!

So why is XBoxFanboy not reporting the same issues for the 360 version? because they do exist.....

BOTH versions have the same issues.

Does this honestly surprise anyone? Ubisoft has always given Playstation ports the shaft. It's the same reason i've never purchased any of their games on PS2 until Splinter Cell:Double Agent (which was actually a good port for once).

What doesn't make sense to me is that they went backwords...They had the vegas 1 servers running fine so why didn't they just add or expand on them...I'm not sure what it is but my ps3 always has issues with ubisoft games...For example on the single player on vegas 2 and assassins creed, my character has pixels that go nuts...my guy runs around with a line that shoots from his head making him look like a unicorn...this only happens on ubisoft games though...I hope they do something quick cause COD4 is releasing their new map pack in 2 weeks.

You know, if we don't hear anything from Ubisoft soon, I will be going to the UK trading standards about this, it's disgusting that Ubisoft hasn't acknowledged the problem and are keeping us in the dark, I'm pi**ed off, the game was highly anticipated and has somewhat delivered in the single player but the fact that they never fixed the problems on the last vegas for the PS3 I reckon they won't touch Vegas 2 either despite the mass complaints they are getting.

The fact is I don't want my money back, I want a fix and I want it yesterday, so they better sort they're sh*t out or I will causing some sh*t for they're company and I'll go public with it.

No Lag issues of the 6 matches I got in over the past 48 hours (none of them I got to finish) I was impressed with the maps speed and graphics, even the coms, I would have been more impressed if it wasn't a case of try 20-40 matches and get in 1 (honestly) I'm sure UBI are loseing sales by the hour as people are hearing about this from friends and ALL OVER THE NET including youtube. The longer it goes unfixed the more cash they lose and the more tarnished there reputation becomes, I can't even host a 2 player terrorist hunt with a friend 20 miles away and we both have 10+ meg connections! Ubi haven't even issued a statement other than for users to check there NAT settings....way to annoy your customers intelligence guys LOL

This is a problem in Vegas 1 & 2 on the XBOX 360. Your disc would stop spinning at which is painfully obvious when it happens. Seconds later you get a Disc Unreadable error. I tossed this game aside, they cant even fix major problems in a "new release" or better known as R6V1.1.

thats bullcrap about problems with the 360, those problems exist only on the ps3, the 360 version is fine, its the ps3s cell chip thats causing alll these problems, thats what you get for getting a ps3 and not the 360, i have both but i dont bother with the ps3 if i can get a game for the 360, i only have resistance and warhawk for my ps3 the rest are multiplatforms but 360 versions

Better fix it or RSV2 ends before it even started one week and if theres no patch then my copy meets Mr.Fireplace

It is more of a problem during prime time hours. If you log on when most users go to sleep, it connects much easier and faster. Early in the evening I couldn't connect to save my life. But when I jumped on later in the night, when all the kids have bed time, it worked perfectly.

I had the 360 version since day 1 and had no problems what so ever the only complaint I have is the limited respawns on some of the gametypes, but that could always be fixed.

someone want to explain to me why one person feels that because their game is working they know whats going on for the entire 360 community? Please shut up urs is working good for u doesnt mean others are not having issues. Second the idiot sayign the cell is causing servers to not work has no logic and I hope you return to school.

Finally I had these issues on friday when I tried to play. Saturday everything worked well i only tried coop story and it worked perfectly so I dont know if its fixed or not but i havent tried since then. its shady when they dont get these things fixed upfront but u know what rainbow six 1 sucked rainbow six 2 is improved but after playing call of duty theres no going back. so ur not missing anything. This is definitely a rental NOT a purchase.
